My time at Thinkful was great! First and foremost, I got a job as a data analyst within 6 months of graduation with no previous data experience, which is exactly why I attended the program. The instructors made the course material easy to understand and were approachable if I had any questions. The capstone projects are great to put on your resume and give you more confidence with the skills you learn. The careers team works very hard, and I learned quite a lot about the job search process. Thinkful supported me every step of the way. -

The Thinkful program is a great opportunity for career growth and development. I'm very thankful for the program and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to go into the world of IT. I will share my thoughts regarding the program and my experience with the staff.
The curriculum is amazing, providing excellent information, useful exercises, and a chance to collaborate with others. I enjoy having access to all of the templates after graduating, and they have helped me in my new role as a Project Manager. At times the system was down and the assignments wouldn't allow me to successfully submit my work. The staff did well supporting us and making sure we received credit.
The staff was very helpful and provided continuous support throughout the program. You're paired with a Mentor, Academic Success Manager, Career Coach, and you have your instructor and an aid/assistant as well. Everyone assigned to me was very helpful and positive. My Instructor was awesome and always made sure he was available to answer questions when he could.
The Career portion of the program was great, and the resources and skills for the job search have proved to be amazing. I understand that we need to make sure we are active in our job search, but I wish the program provided leads or referrals for internships. I understand that job placement may be asking too much, but a referral would be nice.
Overall, my experience with Thinkful was amazing, and I wouldn't have the job I have now if it weren't for the program and support. If you need a detailed training program or a career change, Thinkful is an excellent choice! -

It's EXCELLENT!! The language level the program is written is interesting, easy to understand, and relevant to the present times. You actually enjoy reading the material, watching the videos and doing the homework assignments. The mentor I was assigned to was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He was very patient with me, answered all my questions, if there was ever a problem with scheduling, he was very understanding and flexible, he connected me with other senior designers in the industry and even wrote me a recommendation on LinkedIn. The other mentors who review your assignments are also very knowledgeable, meet you at your level and thoroughly explain how you can improve your design or processes. The program teaches you the latest UX / UI design methodologies and tools. Then after you finish the program and graduate with a ready to present portfolio, you get assigned to a career coach that helps you find a job. I was able to find a UX/UI design job just a month after my graduation date. I am very happy I did it and will definitely recommend it to anyone looking into UX / UI design programs. Thinkful is the way to go! -

When I started the program, it was under Bloc, however that was acquired by Thinkful. I lucked out and got an amazing mentor that I stuck with the entire program. Before starting the program, I signed up for CareerFoundry's 7 day email "course" for UX and also completed Springboard's Into to Design course (4 weeks long) to ensure that I wanted to make the commitment to such a long program. I ended up going with Bloc/Thinkful because I didn't like the idea of doing unpaid work for a company (Springboard). In hindsight, that would no longer be a determining factor in my decision. Also, Bloc's financing terms worked better for me.
I've been taking 2-4 college classes a semester while working 40 + hours a week since about 2017. Because of this, I thought that the UX / UI Design program would be just about as much work. It was definitely more, but still manageable. With Bloc & Thinkful having merged, I found that some policies contradicted themselves which was a bit frustrating. Another thing that I wish was different is that I wish the Slack channel was more of a community. That said, you can totally find a community in different LinkedIn groups for UX Design.
That all said, I definitely learned a lot and would sign up for the program again. Before completing my final capstone project, I ended up with a job! -

Fantastic program! Great value!
I loved the Data Analytics Immersion course. The course was well organized, with very knowledgable instructors, and a great pace that prevented leaving anyone behind, but offered enough for those who were ahead of the group. I would definitely recommend! -

I chose a curriculum at Thinkful to build on some of my public relations experience that I hadn't used since college. The mentors and career coaches really helped the program stand out and gave me the support I needed. I am much better off for having chosen Thinkful. I feel confident in my field of study and got the knowledge I needed to be competitive in the market. This single choice to join Thinkful has changed my professional experience for the better. -

As a 10+ years developer, I thought I had seen it all however I was pleasantly surprised. The course work took concepts I had struggled with for years and broke them down into simple relatable ideas. I had challenging tasks that tested every fiber of my skill and while having a mentor who helped me stay on track. I would 110% recommend Thinkful to anyone looking to further their career. -

My overall experience with Thinkful was not what I hoped or expected. Yes, they will teach you something but the depth of that something is very shallow. They make over-hype advertisements and barely deliver. Yes, the course goes over fundamentals with very little useful help. Very little time with teachers or Mentors. Most of the course was not functioning correctly or used very vague concepts to teach with. I did complete the course and got my certificate. I don't feel prepared for a job if anyone will even take me with the poor teaching I received from Thinkful. The best thing I got out of this is I got to dip my feet into learning to code for multiple tens of thousands in which I could have done elsewhere for free or ten dollars a course. Instructors are decent. Some good some not so. I wouldn't recommend anyone to do this. It is way cheaper elsewhere. -

Thinkful--Making students the TOP priority

My experience with Thinkful was outstanding. The amount of support that was available to me was mind-blowing. Not only did I have a mentor who had experience in the job field to answer any and all questions and give me feedback on my work, but I also had a ASM, which was like having my own student advocate and an assistant there for me whenever I needed them. I recently graduated from the UX/UI Flex program, and I am now working with a career coach who is constantly in contact with me giving me resources and tips, along with answering any questions or worries I have.
This is the first school I've ever been to where I felt cared about and valued as a student. Help was available no matter what, I had a team of people there to support me. If I had to give some negative feedback, it would be that there needs to be more user testing resources for the students, finding people to do usability testing and surveys was difficult. But besides that it was a great experience and I feel prepared to start my new career! -

Not just for tech company job seekers!

Preface: Being unemployed, although working as a consultant, during the pandemic I took the opportunity to join Thinkful’s Digital Marketing Flex program to bolster my skill set, as I already had experience in sales, customer/client service, and business development. Unlike many enrollees of Thinkful who plan to enter the tech space, I planned to use this added experience to ultimately obtain a job in sports. Why Flex?: - It offered the flexibility to continue the program without a hitch if I obtained a job during the program. - I could work at my own pace, whether quickly or steadily. - I could work when I needed to (perfect for night owls). - The cost is cheaper compared to the Immersion Program. - It provided the option to pay for the program only after I receive a qualifying job ($40K minimum). - It offered eligibility for a tuition money-back guarantee if I don’t receive a qualifying job after 6 months. Curriculum: The curriculum was well structured, highly educational, well written, and informative with relevant material for measurable marketing in current times while preparing you for the future of marketing. All current topics and platforms being used are discussed, while supporting case studies are provided throughout each section as well. Following each section you’ll complete a project that is designed for you to apply your knowledge and skills learned, then you’ll receive valuable feedback on each project. Mentorship: During the program you will be paired with a mentor that has experience in your field, and may even have had experience specifically in the industry in which you may want to work. The knowledge and advice provided was invaluable. I met with my mentor via Zoom once per week. If I needed assistance with anything regarding coursework, projects, or had questions about anything as I began to see things in the real world through the lens of a digital marketer, he was consistently available. Career Services: Following completion of the program you get access to a career coach for 6 months. I am just beginning this stage now, so I don’t have much to speak on outside of my initial first week with my career coach. So far I’ve met with my career coach and he hit the ground running. I’ve immediately been provided with advice and many resources to advance my career while refining my job search and networking techniques. Critique: Coursework could have gone more in depth in some subjects, HOWEVER, I was provided with a great foundation for each subject to build on even further. Where Am I Now?: Although I recently finished the program, I have already had more success with securing interviews than before enrolling in the program. I secured 2 interviews that came on the heels of ending the program and a third scheduled this week. Being able to walk away with a polished resume, LinkedIn profile, and comprehensive portfolio has boosted my confidence when applying to opportunities. In addition, immediately seeing results thus far has ignited even more of a desire to keep building on this foundation. Overall this is a great program that provides great value for the money! -

From slightly related position to Business Analyst!

My prior experience was not fully as a data analyst. I used excel to make some insights but it did not truly go much beyond averages and totals. It did make me want to learn more and become a data analyst, with a full set of tools at my disposal. Enter Thinkful. I expanded my excel knowledge, as well as got a nice bit of background for SQL, Python and Tableau. Through the course of the three capstone projects, I learned more about presenting data and different tools to do it well. Most importantly, during the careers section, I had someone who looked over me, listened to me whine and grumble, gave me additional project resources, and kept me on task when I felt like stopping the job search. And I got results. I accepted a position as a Business Analyst, and I will definitely be using my expanded excel and tableau skills. I am very excited about my new journey.
That said, there are things that offer frustration. Thinkful tends to change up curriculum, but sometimes the assignment solutions and problems don’t always line up. Or the testing tools have their own hiccups. It’s like there is room for some QA in the program and with some of the chosen tools, and as a student these can be frustrating. But the community is very helpful and the mentors are great. It serves as a reminder that these things happen in the work world too, don’t forget to call on your team. Also, I would have like more tableau and more SQL and Python, but it is not meant to be forever. There are other resources to gain further experience. -

Great Value and a Wealth of Knowledge!

I completed the full time technical project management course. It was quite intense! The course covers almost every aspect of project management, including the different frameworks and processes used to manage project. I was in the second cohort ever, so there was a lot of room for improvement. The knowledge you gain is outstanding, however I do wish we spent more time doing interview prep. I have landed an amazing role at an incredible tech company, but it took me months to get used to the interview structures and expectations. Your career coach is a great resource, and maybe if I had utilized her more, I might have gotten an offer a lot sooner. Thinkful provides you with a library of resources. You have your instructor who will usually help you with anything, the TA’s, your mentor, and your career couch. Your success it entirely dependent on the amount of work you put in. This isn’t a ticket to landing a job. It’s a lot of work and it’s definitely a bit of an emotional roller coaster, in a good way! Thinkful hires top knotch industry experts. They will do the best they can to support you, but you have to use the resources that are provided to you. The people that aren’t successful tend to coast along, doing the bare minimum. Then they get disappointed when they don’t land a job. All in all, amazing course. I would recommend it to anyone that’s interested! -

Overall, this course was very challenging and took longer than anticipated, but ended up being worth it in the end!
** Before choosing any bootcamp course, I highly recommend reading the CIRR course outcomes report for that course!
According to the CIRR report for Thinkful's Engineering Flex program in 2019, 82.1% of students withdrew from the course, and the ones that graduated took a median of 247 days to do so. I'm not saying this to scare you away from taking the course, but I just want to warn you that it is very difficult and most people don't end up finishing it. And if you do enroll, don't beat yourself up if it takes you longer than the advertised 5-6 months to complete it.
That being said, I had a pretty positive experience overall, and ended up getting a Full Stack Software Engineering job a little over a month after graduating!
Overall Experience: 5/5
The course isn't perfect, and apparently some of the mentors are hit or miss, but I was paired with a pretty awesome mentor who made my experience much more manageable. In total it took me about 8 1/2 months to finish the course. I had a couple big personal events that happened during my course that delayed me a lot, but the Thinkful staff were very accommodating and gave me more time to finish. Another thing to note is that while I was enrolled, they added a feature to chat with an expert when you get stuck, which was (sometimes) helpful. They also created a Discord channel specifically for the Engineering Flex program, which was much more helpful in getting me unstuck. They're constantly adding features and tweaking things to help improve the student experience, which I appreciated.
Instructors: 4/5
Since this is the Flex program I didn't really have traditional instructors, so this review is for the Thinkchat "experts", my mentor, and the helpers/mentors on Slack and Discord. My mentor was great, but if you don't like your mentor you have the option to request a new one at any time which is nice. The helpers on Slack and Discord were also incredibly helpful and patient. I would see them on Discord answering people's questions all day long, so big shoutout to them! Thinkchat was very hit or miss, and in my experience was mostly a miss. Some of the "experts" I got paired with took 10 minutes to respond every time I said anything, and after an hour came to the conclusion that they didn't know how to help so they would transfer me to someone else. Very frustrating. However I know they're testing a video chat feature, and are trying to improve this.
Curriculum: 4.5/5
The curriculum was pretty thorough, and it's 100% text-based. This wasn't a huge problem for me, as I supplemented the curriculum with lots of Youtube videos, but could be an issue to some. My biggest gripe about the curriculum is that the estimated time to finish each segment was wildly inaccurate. Towards the second half of the course especially, a lot of the sections took 2-3 times longer than the time they give. This caused a lot of stress since I felt like I was always trying to keep up, and forced me to rush through some of the content. By the time I got to the capstones I had to spend a considerable amount of time going back and reteaching myself the previous content that I rushed through. Overall, they cram in a ton of content in a "5-6 month" course so like I said earlier, don't feel bad if it takes you longer than advertised.
Job Assistance: 5/5
I was paired with a really awesome professional advisor who was super supportive and gave me a ton of resources to help in my job search. She gave me great tips on how to approach the job application process, and was also constantly sharing job leads through Slack. I was also able to sign up for a free mock technical interview through Skilled which was awesome. Overall, the job hunt game is mostly about networking (I got my current job through Slack) and my advisor did a great job assisting me throughout the whole process. -

The curriculum was pretty straight forward, much more so than lots of "learn-on-your-own" stuff (one of the main reasons that I chose Thinkful). The only curriculum issue is later on, when you have more complex topics (and therefore issues), the TAs can struggle to help. The instructors were pretty awesome. Some of them are less willing to deviate from their lesson plan structure to help students understand than others, but they do know their stuff. The job assistance was PHENOMENAL. They gave tips, had meetups online, and really gave their all to helping us get jobs. -

It was July of 2020, two months after I had been released from my job as a result of a pandemic. I was awaiting adjudication for my unemployment benefits to be released and living, as best as I could, off of the living stipend I had stored in savings. It was about to run out and my future was unknown.
The ad for Thinkful's Data Science Immersion course crossed my Facebook newsfeed and I was elated. I'm an expert in information technology, had been refused countless job opportunities over the course of four years, and spent the last two working as a grocery clerk. I had given up on IT, but the immersion course offered enough funds to cover my expenses during my five months of fast, hard learning and it included career services. Which is exactly what I knew I needed to get back into my industry.
I was assigned a mentor and had a couple instructors to teach, guide, and assist in my learning. The career servicing teams worked with me to build a resume and turn out a LinkedIn profile during my studies. I was encouraged and provided with meetups/events to attend and of the benefits of following up. With Thinkful, I was given the extra umph - the person to hold me accountable - to growing a network of professionals that could help me with acquiring a position.
I learned a lot from this team and had a bit of fun doing it, too. -

This was a 4-month course designed to provide one with the skills to be a Data Analyst. I enjoyed the dashboard and use of Google to turn in assignments. The workshops were not very long, but the instructors made most of the time allotted. I am also very glad that there is lifetime access to the curriculum. This program did its job! -

This was the greatest learning experience I've ever had. I've gone to 3 universities and haven't had this type of hands on learning. The mentorship alone is worth the money. Every step of the way I felt completely supported. Our instructors were well versed and long time UX/UI designers from every top company, Amazon, Apple, etc. To have this type of skill based learning, with an organized online environment, paired with a mentor, in a fraction of the time is the future of education. You will not regret enrolling in Thinkful! It doesn't end when the course ends either. You have a TEAM of career coaches sending you jobs, reviewing your resume, LinkedIn and portfolio work. You are fully supported throughout and you can tell they are invested in your success. -

I recently graduated from Thinkful's Software Engineering Flex program and am very thankful for the experience. I was pared with amazing mentors and my Academic Support Coach and Career Coach were awesome! My favorite thing about the curriculum was building the two full-stack capstone projects. These two projects were huge learning experiences and have turned out to be great talking points during interviews. The most challenging part of the curriculum was learning by reading. There were coding examples but mainly lots of reading and I ended up supplementing with a few videos and courses that I found on my own. That said, my experience at Thinkful was very positive! -

First, I wanna say I've written a review here on Course Report but it was never published. It seems fairly obvious to me that there's something fishy going on between Thinkful and Course Report.
Thinkful started out great, but once I started learning React, it was all downhill. The materials are bad - I mostly learned React and jQuery elsewhere, the support system changed and became laughably bad, and the lack of curriculum support for Windows was a real head scratcher. Once the TA system changed, it was almost impossible to get competent support. I have literally been given Wikipedia links as answers to my questions. They modified the curriculum while I was a student and certain lessons had incorrect links to the materials - for example, they'd have a link to a code snippet that they expected you to work on and follow along with, except the link was to already completed code.
They also gave me false information about my enrollment end date. I was told more than once that my end date was Feb 28th, but on Feb 11th, I was informed that my actual end date was Feb 12th. I had to scramble to finish the program on time.
Every other student I've talked to has had a bad experience. I firmly believe Thinkful is associated with certain review sites like this one and is able to dictate which reviews are published, hence the high scores on these sites while most students I interact with have had a negative experience.
Thinkful doesn't care about students, it's all about money. I'd recommend a different bootcamp. The only saving grace for me was my mentor. -

The intensive digital marketing flex program proved to be a challenge. The final portfolio project tests everything you have learned throughout the course. Careers team is super helpful in the job search. I would def recommend this program. -

Please Note: Because the course content and structure changed and updated after I started the cohort, my giving specific examples of material would be outdated... so here's a brief, overall "grains-of-salt" on my experience.
My experience with the Engineering Immersion cohort was unique from most. I entered into the program with "little-to-no actual experience" in programming, aside from watching a few freely available video tutorials. I also started the program at the beginning of the pandemic in the US, and had to delay my entry into the Engineering Immersion program to the next following cohort due to family/health issues.
And THEN my wife gave birth to our first child 3-months into the Engineering Immersion cohort...
SO I was dealing with A LOT on my plate...
and yet, I STILL managed to graduate from the cohort on my scheduled graduation date!
Not gonna lie to ya'll, not gonna sugar-coat this... it was STRESSFUL, it was very difficult at times (most times actually)…. BUT obviously I was able to do it, AND SO CAN YOU.
You gotta' put in the hours (long hours in my case, anywhere from 10 - 14 hours a day, 6-days a week studying/practicing while on top of my new daddy-duties).
The instructors were knowledgeable of their material, the TA's were helpful, and my mentor(s) were "let's be real about what to expect in the workforce" with me. I feel that they all greatly helped me push myself to get to this point now where I am not as intimidated by lines of code, and just beginning this new phase of my life and career.
So be prepared to work hard to get the most out of it, and hold yourself accountable and responsible for your own work, as well as YOUR OWN SUCCESS! -

I came into the program without much technical or professional experience. While I found the material easy to understand and was able to speed through a lot of it, I felt lost when I got to my capstones. This was because curriculum gives only a broad overview for some topics and you don't get to see any examples of real world projects. That being said, I think the most valuable part of this program is the people. If you make good use of mentor sessions/Q&A sessions, that can fill some of the gaps in the curriculum. And, feedback from presentation and mock interview evaluators was helpful for understanding practical things like job searching and expectations once you’re actually working. Many of these evaluators do want to see students succeed and are happy to help you out where they can. Overall, I would say you should be prepared to spend time doing your own research, especially if you want a strong portfolio, and be proactive about learning more to get the most out of the program. -

Started the design program in March 2020. I was set up with what I believe is the best mentor possible. The program is set up to work at your own pace but if you put in at least 20-25 hours a week you should be able to finish within the 8 month timeline they set up for you. Since I was unemployed at the time I was able to focus more time each week. Each week I was able to meet with my mentor and go over any burning questions that I had.
The curriculum is detailed but if you feel that information is missing Google is your best friend. It's something that my mentor mentioned and something that is normal in the UX design world. The field is fast paced so new and better info is always popping up. All the teachers/mentors that review your work give great feedback and try not to let you pass a section just to push you to the end.
Once you finish the program the career team is super helpful. They have a group video chat at least once a week. Recently they have had past students come and do Q&As. Also, Monday-Fri it's super easy to get your questions asked from them.
Overall I would recommend the program, but I like to tell people that it takes a lot of effort and mental energy to stay focus. -

My experience with Thinkful was pretty good. I learned a lot from the classes and I generally enjoyed the experience. I graduated at possibly the worst time to start a job search process, March of 2020 and it took me around one year to find a job. To give more context, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and all of my previous work experience is in retail. I'm also admittedly, not excessively passionate about data science, so didn't spend that much time on outside projects and learning. My job now is as a Data Management Analyst and I'm not using any of what I learned at Thinkful. So I guess I would be considered to be on the lower end of possible course outcomes.
I still feel positive about the experience and I found career counseling to be pretty helpful. I blame covid, my lack of experience, and my sorta low effort approach to job searching for how long it took for me to land a job. The course set me on the data career path that I'm on now and I'm thinking of pursuing a master's in data science after working for a year or two. -

This was a great experience for me. Going into the bootcamp I had little to no coding or data science experience. I had some technical skills as an Engineering Physics major, but I was a bit nervous about how I would do. However, after the first couple weeks my nerves went away completely. The amount of resources provided was amazing and I always had a resource available to help me with anything I did not understand. Additionally, getting the opportunity to work on different capstone projects really set me up with real world applications. The one on one mentoring during the bootcamp was also extremely helpful. Having the opportunity to meet twice a week with a professional in the industry really gave me a chance to learn more about what it is like to be a data scientist and what is important to learn/know in the industry. Once I graduated from the bootcamp I was matched with a career coach who was also nothing but amazing. I was provided with advice on how to go about applications, my resume and cover letter were constantly updated and tapered. My career coach even helped provide job recommendations for me each week. Overall, I would highly recommend this bootcamp. It was a great experience and I feel like I was able to gain a lot from it. -

When I had joined the program, I was under the track UX/UI Design (might have been renamed). I was lucky enough to apply for a scholarship which led me to pursue the track. The course is very helpful for someone that is new to design, art fundamentals, and UX/UI. My biggest takeaway was learning the program Figma. I also had a great mentor that had UX/UI industry experience. They were able to walk and support me throughout the curriculum when I was confused on what the assignment was asking. The curriculum itself was 4/5 due to the fact that instructions were sometimes not as clear or it was repetitive in content. Getting in contact with Thinkful support/careers/advisors was the toughest part as I wouldn't get a response until a week later. I can't speak on Job Assistance as I am just starting my job search support with Thinkful. -

The UX/UI bootcamp at Thinkful was a great experience! I wanted a program that was part time so I could keep my job while I made my pivot to Design. The Thinkful bootcamp was great for that because it was self paced (with a schedule or calendar to help you stay on pace), paired you with a mentor to keep you encouraged along your journey, and gave really concrete and solid feedback from assignments. I will say that you should be prepared to find alternative resources and websites to go above and beyond. Thinkful does a great job of helping you learn the core principles and best practices, and gives you access to a lot of other resources to become the best designer possible. The bootcamp also tests you along your journey to make sure you’re actually understanding what you’re learning - the real world/job process will consist of you doing interviews, design exercises, and giving case study presentations. The bootcamp interviews will help you prepare for those interviews (but make sure you do additional practice and research!). After you graduate from the bootcamp, you will enter the job search phase where you’re paired with a career coach who will help you during the job hunt phase. They’ll help you prep and give you guidance during this duanting phase.
All in all, a very great experience and I’d recommend this bootcamp if you’re someone who can stay motivated during this self-paced journey towards becoming a Designer! -

My experience with Thinkful was really positive. I did the Engineering Flex program and got a job offer a few weeks before graduating. I worked full time while doing Thinkful - it was great to be able to do this in some ways because it took the financial pressure off finding a job ASAP, but it would have been nice to be able to spend more time with the curriculum. It was exhausting doing both at once, but totally worth it in the end!
It sometimes felt isolating doing the flex program, but I really liked the 'learn at your own pace' setup. A major benefit of Thinkful is that you have two 45-minute sessions with a mentor every week. I had two really great mentors while at Thinkful, and the weekly sessions felt like plenty of time to work through any issues I was having.
My advice to new students is to confide in your mentor/peers if you're feeling overwhelmed or stressed, and to be patient with and kind to yourself! You're likely going to be absorbing a lot of brand new information, and you're not going to understand everything straightaway. Getting comfortable with being stuck/confused and celebrating when you figure something out will be key to your long term success! -

The data analytics flex program was a perfect fit for me as I was working a full-time job in another career. It was truly flexible and could work ahead as much as you'd like if you had vacations coming up or wanted to take a couple of weekends off during the course. The content was mostly up to date (not sure it's ever possible to be fully up to date with quickly new versions come out) and very easy to follow and learn. I was able to learn new skills that I had never even heard of before the course. The 1 on 1 mentor calls were a game-changer as they occur weekly and lasted about an hour. Every week I learned great information from my mentor's previous experience and knowledge. -

When I decided I was going to do a bootcamp, a quick google search led to me to believe I was ready to switch to a career in Data Science, so I applied to Thinkful's Data Science program.
Before enrollment, you first talk with a representative to get some more information on why you're choosing to go this route. The rep told me during our conversation that it sounded like I would be a better fit for Data Analytics. This was a big deal as I spoke to other reps from different bootcamps, and they were ready to enroll me without question, which to me seemed like they just wanted my money.
I enrolled in the part-time flex program. As I got closer to my start date, the more nervous I got. I didn't know what to expect. But all that went away as I started the program. You get assigned an academic success manager, who is there to make sure your journey goes as smooth as possible. If you have any problems/concerns, you ASM was your goto. You also get assigned a mentor, who you meet 2x a week to help guide you with the coursework. I could not have been assigned a better team. My mentor was very knowledgable in his field, and was always ready to answer my questions, even outside of our scheduled meetings.
After you finish the program, you get assigned a career coach, who helps you with your job search. My coach definitely gave me a ton of tips and tricks which helped make my search easier.
All in all, the program was a great experience. Thinkful not only offer job ready skills, but also give you the skills to be a better professional in your field. You also have a great network of people to connect with, which was great to see other students taking on the journey with you. This isn't a program where you can slack off and expect to successful, you have to be committed and ready to put the work in. I never imagined going from being a retail sales associate, to accepting a full-time data analyst job within a year.

Thinkful's data analysis program focused on Excel, SQL, Tableau and Python with extensive lessons, assignments and resources for each. What sets the program apart, however, is the support of an assigned mentor with whom you meet weekly. My mentor was not only a great help in solving analytical problems, but also had invaluable insight into how these programs are used on the job and into the wider landscape of data analysis tools. The career and networking assignments intermixed with the technical skills units are also extremely helpful. I received a job offer for a data analyst position just a day after completing my course. Overall, this is a very good and well-rounded program, especially for those who are pivoting from non-STEM educational or professional backgrounds. -

Great experience! Good financing options, informative coursework and excellent mentorship. My mentor was always helpful, consistent and available to help with any coursework or questions. Career services after graduation was very dedicated and helpful. Coursework could've gone more into depth about CRM systems, but gave a great foundation for most aspects of the field and assignments were very very relevant. Good value for the experience and coaching. -

Engineering flex - great experience

I had a great experience in the engineering flex program. The curriculum covers what feels like a really useful range of skills covering a full Javascript stack, starting with a good foundation in HTML and CSS, into the basics of Javascript and jQuery for DOM manipulation, and finally React and Node.js/Express to cover truly modern and seemingly in-demand Javascript frameworks. There is also a short but solid exposure to data science and algorithms, which felt a little less naturally integrated with the rest of the curriculum, but seems like an essential piece for job interviews and bridging the conceptual skillset gap between a boot camp grad and someone with a more traditional comp sci degree. I'm just now early in the post-grad careers phase, and have been extremely impressed with the structure: I'm assigned an individual career coach who I'll meet with weekly for awhile and then as-needed in the job search, and I've gotten a lot of assistance in job search strategy and materials development throughout the process. Also, although the quality of the mentor will necessarily depend on the individual mentor you get, my particular mentor was really awesome. He significantly exceeded my expectations not just about how knowledgable he was, but also how good of a teacher and communicator. Meeting twice weekly for the entire duration of the program was absolutely a highlight for me. -
