CAD/BIM Certificate Program
Summary
At 400 hours, this certificate covers both halves of contemporary building documentation: AutoCAD for 2D drafting and Revit for Building Information Modeling. It begins with the AutoCAD sequence through construction documents, then moves into Revit fundamentals, intermediate modeling, and BIM construction documents.
Elective courses allow specialization in Revit MEP, Revit Structure, or AutoCAD construction documents, and the program closes with a capstone. Students produce both detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, and work on how BIM fits into current design and construction practice. It is approved for veterans' education benefits and includes a year of AutoCAD and Revit access.
Who this course is for
AEC professionals who need both CAD drafting and BIM modeling, and students or career changers who want coordinated design and documentation skills across both.
