I'll be very honest... I would give it a 0 if I could, I don't recommend anyone going to this school, it was the worst school I've ever attended! A complete robbery and a scheme organized with the Montepio bank! School in poor conditions, construction going on during classes, rooms with 40% more people than they said there would be, teachers not knowing how to speak Portuguese and not knowing how to explain, teachers missing days and days in a row without replacing the teacher when there were several teachers walking around smoking cigarettes, but worst of all, they paint the school pink saying that everything is very good with guaranteed work at the end of the course, classes of 20 people MAXIMUM ( mine was 30...) and when you finish we don't even have work and the support given by the placement team is a joke... simply horrible I don't advise anything, what I advise is to talk to former students who already attended the school as I even bet that 70% of them are unemployed or have left the area. Not to mention signing the contract that was done online on the school's platform, worth €6500, which should never have been done online... but even so, when we tried to get the contract already signed before, we couldn't get it, if we ask the school later they will send a completely different one with all the conditions that were not met so as not to be in breach after the course had ended. An act of clowning literally delayed my life!!!Dibimbing is an Indonesia-based education platform focused on helping people get better jobs through industry-aligned bootcamps in high-demand digital and business skills. I would recommend DigitalCrafts to anyone that is committed to transitioning into full-stack software development. During the 17-week full-time program I experienced tremendous growth and was able to build much greater things than I expected. On the 17th week I was accepted into an internship and it's because of this bootcamp. During the full-time bootcamp it is up to you and how hard you are willing to apply yourself during this time. If you need to recharge, recharge. However, if you have free time, commit it to learning new technologies or improving existing skills. As I write this, I am now familiarizing myself with an entirely new codebase and beginning work with 40 other developers. The curriculum keeps you moving and lays an important foundation for new developers. Also, I would recommend Veronica as an instructor. I'm apart of the HR part time program and my experience to say the least is disappointing. the first half of the program is pair programming which you are matched with a random pair weekly who most often is "too busy" to pair with you, prefers to work solo or is flat out working ahead of you. When you reach out to address the issue of pairing, you will be told that it's normal and everyone seems to be having an issue with pairing and that staff will try to be more mindful of pairing. I mean come on its a part time program and within the first 3 weeks the structure of the program was clear so if you choose to stay, you should be able to follow the guidelines! How can you be set up for success when the first half of the program you are dependent on a partner that has anti pairing behaviors? However, If YOU work ahead and leave your partner behind, you will be reprimanded for it surprisingly. At this point because it continues to happen, I'm not sure ALL students who do this get reprimanded if you get what I am hinting at. That's not to say you won't meet some great people here. There are always diamonds in the rough. The curriculum needs a lot of work, and honestly some of it comes off as culturally insensitive. Hiring outside POC isn't going to change that, the curriculum needs a whole reboot. Some of videos is full of what they explain as "Bro-y" language but really the lecturer is an insensitive douche. In one of the videos the lecturer actually told a student they hadn't bothered to remember their name. WOW! The class was told they forgot to cut that part out. YIKES. Considering the cost of the program on top of my current experience only a few months in, I wouldn't recommend HR to anyone else to spend almost 20,000 on this bs. You would legit only be paying for the network.Henry delivers AI programs to upskill and reskill individuals and teams: Full Stack AI, Data Science + AI, AI Automation, and AI Engineering. I am 19 years old and I recently graduated high school. That being said, I definitely did not find it here. This has, by far, been one of the most difficult times in my life and it is 100% because of this course. I recently completed the Codeworks bootcamp, and I can confidently say that it was an incredibly enriching experience. The course is meticulously designed, starting with the fundamentals of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and progressively moving on to full-stack development using Node.js and popular frontend frameworks like Angular and React. The curriculum is well-crafted and ensures that by the end of the course, students are well-prepared to build robust, full-stack applications. One of the standout aspects of Codeworks is the instructor coordinator, Brent. He leads the teaching team with a clear and effective approach to instruction. Brent emphasizes problem-solving and self-reliance, which really pushes students to develop their critical thinking and coding skills. While the course is undeniably intense, Brent and the other instructors strike a perfect balance between encouraging independence and providing support. I had the pleasure of meeting with Brent a few times, and each interaction reinforced how dedicated and thoughtful the teaching approach at Codeworks is.The bootcamp is demanding, but students who come in with the right mindset—curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones—will thrive. The only instances where I saw students struggle were when they weren't interested in challenging themselves beyond their existing knowledge. That said, even with my 10 years of coding experience, I found the bootcamp to be incredibly valuable. The environment at Codeworks is nothing short of inspiring. The positive atmosphere and the constant encouragement to tackle ambitious projects allowed me to grow in ways I never expected. The course is also great for beginners. Many in my cohort came in with little or no coding experience, and they thrived. The precourse material, completed as part of the application process, does an excellent job of teaching the fundamentals of JavaScript. We also spent the first few days of the bootcamp recapping this material in more detail, providing a solid foundation from which to build for the rest of the course. This approach makes the course approachable for beginners while still being challenging enough for those with more experience. At Codeworks, students also create their own projects, entirely led by themselves, which allows them to build incredible full-stack applications to add to their portfolios. These projects push their skills to a level that truly sets them apart. The experience of working on these projects closely mimics the environments developers encounter every day in the workplace, providing invaluable real-world experience. Moreover, Codeworks sets you up brilliantly to enter employment afterward if you wish to get a job in computer science. Maria runs the careers department and is available to help Codeworks alumni long after graduation. The structure of the course lends itself toward employment. Students cover the main tasks that junior developers will encounter in the workforce, making them far more attractive to employers. Not only do they develop strong individual coding abilities, but they also gain skills in writing tests and collaborating within a team on projects using industry-standard tools such as Git and GitHub. This knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies, as well as proficiency with versioning tools, makes Codeworks graduates particularly attractive to potential employers. In the final week, Codeworks prepares students for job hunting, helping them get ready to enter the job market. Maria assists students in finding resources in their area for job postings and supports each student in crafting the perfect CV, LinkedIn profile, and GitHub. By the end of the week, each student leaves Codeworks with a finely crafted professional persona, ready to apply for a wide range of coding-related jobs. After graduation, students can choose to participate in weekly group calls to support their job search, and Maria is more than happy to do one-on-one calls when needed. The community built by the students and staff at Codeworks is outstanding. Every student learns from one another and pushes each other to get the best out of themselves. Rather than competing against one another, the students work together, exchanging ideas and knowledge. This sense of community and the drive to build everyone up creates an incredibly supportive atmosphere to enter every day. The same is true of the teacher-student relationship. It’s far more of a mentorship role than that of a typical teacher. By not even the end of the course, more like halfway through, we all felt that the staff on the course were friends and mentors. Rather than just having teachers, I now feel like I have a set of mentors who I can turn to even after finishing the course. It’s great being able to chat with them and exchange ideas and knowledge. They all have incredible depths of knowledge to draw from, and their insights are invaluable.I would recommend being in-person if at all possible, as it helps develop this relationship with the staff and fellow students, and I think these relationships are the most valuable part of the course. I was on the London campus, and it was an incredible experience. We interacted with the other campuses and remote students every day. The remote students are also incredibly well supported and had a great time, but a few admitted that they wished they had chosen to join one of the campuses. They could see how much it helped us to have a physical space and surrounding ourselves with other students and staff added another dimension to our experience. In summary, Codeworks is more than just a coding bootcamp—it’s a transformative experience. Whether you’re a beginner or have years of experience like myself, you’ll find the curriculum, the instructors, and the overall environment to be top-notch. I highly recommend Codeworks to anyone looking to take their coding skills to the next level, build strong professional relationships, and set themselves up for a successful career in tech.Claim Academy is a 3-month developer coding and software training bootcamp in St. Louis that offers 12-week to 20-week classes in full stack Java, C#/.NET, Javascript, and Cybersecurity analysis. They called in favor to have friends in the industry teach. I was like ok whatever, but due to the mixing of instructors, they were just teaching random things and there was no curriculum for them to follow. By week three we had made it to our fourth instructor , who openly admitted he didn't know what was going on and wasn't a very good teacher. He had been asked last minute to fill in until the main instructor returned. In week three we spent an hour going over day one material because no one told the instructor what plan to follow. That same day we found out our main instructor had put his two weeks in and only had a week left. Claim academy had been trying to hire a second instructor for well over two months , and they also were under review from the VA due to excessive complaints about the program. Coming from a non-technical background, I found the course at Boolean to be exactly what I needed. The main appeal of a bootcamp for me was having a structured learning journey, something I knew I would struggle with if I were self-teaching. And that’s exactly what I received. The curriculum was thoughtfully designed for beginners, starting with the basics of JavaScript and gradually building on each concept. This step-by-step approach made it easy to follow and understand, even without prior coding experience. The tutors at Boolean (I had Ezekiel and Carlo) are highly knowledgeable and always ready to help. The support provided throughout the course is amazing, any time I had a question or needed assistance, a quick direct message was all it took to get the help I needed. I also highly recommend taking advantage of the opportunity to go above and beyond the standard course. Most exercises have extension tasks designed to deepen and extend your skills, which I found incredibly valuable. By the end of the course, I felt confident in my ability to build full-stack applications, utilising both frontend and backend skills.
After completing the initial 6 months, you also receive 6 months of career support. This part of the course far exceeded my expectations. Ivana and Giorgio (my career coaches) provided fantastic support with tailoring my CV, updating my LinkedIn profile, and refining my portfolio. They also led weekly career workshops and 1:1 interview prep sessions to help me prepare for the interview process. In addition, Luca provided valuable tech interview prep and coding practice, which was incredibly helpful in building my confidence for technical interviews. Benjamin Schäfer Verified via LinkedIn4Graduate • Course: Diploma in Full Stack Software Development & Specializations • OnlineVery Practical approach with fair jobsearch support
I recently completed the web development course at Code Institute, and overall, I found it to be a valuable learning experience.
The course is divided into five sections, each beginning with a theory block that includes explanatory videos and quick coding challenges. These theory blocks are well-structured and provide a solid foundation in the respective topics.Following the theory, each section features a prebuilt codealong project, where you replicate a project step-by-step using the concepts learned in the theory block. This practical approach really helped me connect the dots and solidify understanding. The personal projects are where I learned the most. They take up a significant portion of the course. Be prepared to invest a lot of time into these personal projects (80% of the full course time). It's very important to carefully read the project requirements multiple times. Missing even a small requirement can impact your grade significantly.
The theory is quite good, and there's a visible effort to keep the content up to date with modern technologies (html, css, javascript, python, jquery, django, stripe api, react and some more ...), though it's understandably difficult to have everything current at all times. The coding challenges, however, weren't always my cup of tea. They sometimes required specific answers, and minor syntax issues could cause hang-ups, which wouldn't have been an issue using an IDE, as the challenges are done completely within the browser just like with the 5-day coding challange that Code Institute makes avaliable as a taste of whats to come - though keep in mind that the course will get much more challenging compared to the 5-day challenges.
A major plus of the course is the monthly hackathons hosted online. These are excellent opportunities to gain team coding experience, learn agile development, and use Git.
For me, the best aspect of the course was the one-on-one help from a mentor. You have meetings three times for each project, each lasting 30 minutes. While I found this a bit short, it was incredibly helpful to get professional feedback from someone with experience. When I started the course, the lessons used to be 45 minutes which was definitely much more helpful (they got shortened while I was studying). These sessions were key in resolving issues and advancing through the course.
Additionally, the course offers job search assistance through a separate mini-course that helps you create your CV, teaches you about LinkedIn, the job market, and job interviews. There are also job announcements and listings in the course's Slack channel that you can apply to if they fit your profile. There's another 30-minute one-on-one session where you review your CV with an advisor for feedback. Ultimately, you're responsible for writing applications and finding a job that works for you. While this is fair, I feel the course could provide more hands-on assistance in this field given its pricetag (i.e. multiple coaching sessions).
As for the difficulty, it's hard to comment definitively as I had some prior coding knowledge. The course was challenging and required a big time commitment. I spent about 6 hours a day on it for 8 months, with 3 or 4 weekly breaks for holidays (maybe more :) who knows). It's possible to complete the course faster, but I believe the quality of my projects and what I learned would have suffered.
Overall, I would recommend Code Institute's web development course to anyone looking to gain practical skills in web development. My experience with Scaler Academy has been extremely positive, and I can genuinely say that Scaler has played a very important role in my career growth. The learning journey not only helped me strengthen my technical skills but also gave me the confidence and exposure needed to take the next step in my professional career.
One of the things I appreciated the most about Scaler was the way they taught concepts. Even complex and difficult topics were broken down and explained in a very simple, structured, and practical way. The curriculum helped me build a much stronger understanding of the fundamentals while also giving me opportunities to apply what I learned through practical problems and projects. The continuous learning environment motivated me to keep improving and become more confident in my technical abilities.
Scaler also gave me excellent career opportunities and guidance. Through Scaler, I was able to get an opportunity with Emergent AI, which was a significant milestone in my career. The placement cell was genuinely supportive throughout the process and provided valuable guidance and assistance. The overall placement experience was very well organized, and I really appreciated the effort the team put into helping students reach the right opportunities.
Another aspect that stood out to me was the overall support. Whenever I had questions or needed assistance, the support team was responsive, approachable, and helpful. Having that kind of support throughout the learning and career journey made the overall experience much smoother.
Looking back, Scaler has given me much more than just technical knowledge. It helped me develop a better learning mindset, improve my problem-solving skills, build confidence, and prepare myself for real-world opportunities. The combination of quality teaching, practical learning, career support, placement assistance, and overall support made the experience truly valuable for me.

I never quite understood why coding bootcamps were known to be so "intensive". Now I do. This class is difficult and for good reason. The volume of knowledge absorbed in such a short time is unbelievable. The instructors did a fantastic job instructing all material, the career services department went above and beyond providing opportunities for interview prep.Bosscoder Academy is a tech training provider based in India offering a part-time, live online “Transformer” program (26 weeks) as well as programs in data science & machine learning (32 weeks) and data analytics (24 weeks). I enrolled in Bosscoder Academy's course covering DSA, system design, and coding, and my experience has been good. As a working engineer, I wanted a structured path rather than scattered resources, and the program delivered that. The DSA curriculum is well organized. Topics build on each other logically, and the problem sets cover the patterns that actually show up in product company interviews. The classes focus on building the intuition for choosing an approach, not just memorizing solutions, which made me much faster at tackling unfamiliar problems. The system design module was a highlight for me. It breaks down real-world architectures, trade-offs, and scalability concepts in a way that is practical and interview-relevant. It helped me structure my answers clearly, from requirements and estimation to high-level design and deep dives. The coding practice and regular assessments kept me consistent and showed me where I needed to improve. The instructors explained concepts clearly, and doubts were addressed promptly.Overall, the program improved my problem-solving skills and my confidence going into technical interviews. I'd recommend it to working professionals who want a structured, disciplined way to prepare for product-company roles. As with any course, the results depend on how much effort you put in, but the structure and guidance make that effort count.RMOTR by INE offers 4-month online Python web development and data science bootcamps.
