WeCloudData

I had the privilege of attending WeCloudData in 2018, completing three bootcamps: Data Science, Applied Machine Learning, and Data Analysis with Python & SQL. My experience with the program was exceptional, and it played a pivotal role in shaping my career in data.

 Comprehensive Curriculum & Hands-on Learning

The courses were well-structured, covering both foundational and advanced concepts with a strong focus on real-world applications. The Data Science bootcamp provided an in-depth understanding of statistical modeling, data wrangling, and visualization, while the Applied Machine Learning course took things a step further by incorporating industry-standard algorithms and techniques. The Data Analysis with Python & SQL course was incredibly practical, helping me refine my skills in querying databases, data cleaning, and working with large datasets.

 Experienced Instructors & Industry Insights

One of the biggest strengths of WeCloudData is the quality of instruction. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and deeply connected to the industry, providing valuable insights beyond theoretical concepts. They emphasized best practices and guided students through real-world projects, which was a game-changer in bridging the gap between learning and application.

 Career Support & Practical Exposure

The bootcamps not only focused on technical skills but also provided career support, including resume workshops, mock interviews, and networking opportunities. The projects I worked on gave me hands-on experience that helped me land my first role in the data field.

 Final Thoughts

Overall, WeCloudData exceeded my expectations, equipping me with the skills and confidence to transition into a data-driven career. If you're looking for a practical, industry-relevant, and immersive learning experience in data science, machine learning, or data analytics, I highly recommend WeCloudData.

WeCloud's Data Engineering Bootcamp is an intensive program that equips you with the essential skills and tools to excel in the data engineering field. With a focus on practical, hands-on learning, you'll gain expertise in data ingestion, storage, processing, and analysis using industry-leading technologies. Expert instructors guide you through real-world projects, enabling you to build a strong foundation and unleash your potential in the exciting world of data engineering.

I’m thankful and grateful for all the instructors and their efforts especially Shaohua for helping us in a lot of things from sharing his experience, preparing for the interviews, getting feedback of resume, and more. Actually, when I applied for this bootcamp, I had zero experience with anything related to data engineering. I tried to learn by myself but I got lost and didn’t know where to start. So after this bootcamp, I built a strong foundation in data engineering. And the most thing I liked about it, is doing many projects to gain experience. I’m confident now about my knowledge in DE, and it just left to me to practice more.

Excellent course instruction.  I found WeCloudData's curriculum fast paced and challenging.  Most importantly, at the end of the course, when I ask myself "Did I learn something?"  The answer is a resounding YES.  One of my biggest concerns with enrolling in a bootcamp is getting help from TAs when stuck.  There are two TA sessions held each week to provide assistance that I made good use of.

I am currently working as a Data Scientist. I joined WeCloudData not knowing about data science field. Within the time that I was in WeCloudData, I was able to learn from basic knowledges like SQL and Python to advanced learning like Machine Learning and Big Data. The career support at WeCloudData is incredible! They cover interview questions and tips as well, which really increased the number of interviews by almost 5 times (mostly data analytics and data science jobs) compared to before. The instructors are very knowledgeable and they give you one on one feedbacks often. They also provide practical hands on experience, where you will have to deal with data that are similar to what you do at work. I also recommended to my own brother to take the full time bootcamp and he never regrets it!
