UCI Division of Continuing Education Web Development Certificate Program

The boot camp was an incredible journey of growth and learning. The pace was intense, but it efficiently covered a vast amount of material, providing practical, hands-on experience that I could immediately apply. The instructors were knowledgeable and supportive, always willing to help and guide us through complex topics. Collaborating with peers on real-world projects not only enhanced my skills but also built lasting professional relationships. This experience has truly transformed my understanding and proficiency in the field, and I feel much more prepared and confident in my career path

I had the worst experience with them. For me it’s wastage of time and money. I wasted my year and I got nothing. The mentor I was assigned didn’t replied back for my sessions. I am so disappointed from their service. The support team was also not helpful. I am unable to get any refund and also no certification. I really doubted the reviews about the school.

I am very excited to have completed the web development course, on the start of my journey to become a web developer. I was always interested in web development when i was in high school but chose to go into a deferent field, but i am excited as i get to go back and reignite my passion towards development. The course it self is taught by a great teacher who knows not only the subject its self but is also a very good teacher. He makes the learning fun and understandable. Even more importantly, if you do not understand anything the environment is very friendly and not at all a negative place where not understanding is something is frowned upon. I had fun learning new things in this course and would highly recommend if others have any interest in trying it out.

I completed the web development certificate course and found it to be an incredibly useful learning experience. Starting with virtually no experience with coding, I was able to create my own website at the end of the 8 week part-time course. The instructors were so helpful in coveying complex theory in an easy to learn manner. They were also extremely helpful in answering any questions I had about the curriculum outside of class hours. I believe this course is an excellent opportunity to transition your career into web development.

Well Experienced Faculties having in-depth knowledge of the domains. Had a great learning Experience. Well Experienced Faculties having in-depth knowledge of the domains. Had a great learning Experience.

Very good, giving all the beneficial knowledge for free which is very much helpful for students best part is also providing job notification which will be the incredible thing that they are doing

I had zero experience with html or css when I started this program. Coming from a background in trades, I was actually pretty intimidated by coding. At the end of this course I feel like I have understanding, experience, and confidence with html+css. I even built my own website, from scratch!

A friend recommended to enroll on Nucamp and it was the rigth decision because it is a very clear bootcamp and mainly it is affordable in comparison to others. After the bootcamp I aspire to become a front end devoloper and to star getting gigs to gain experience and eventually a full time job.

Best learning app I’ve used. I was skeptical about learning on my phone, but this app changed my mind. Video quality is crisp even on data, quizzes actually help you retain info, and I love that I can do 10-min lessons on my commute. Certificates downloaded instant. Highly recommend for upskilling. As a college student in India, this app is a life saver.
Using this for career growth and it delivers. Instructors are real industry experts, not just reading slides. The projects are practical.
Lessons are bite-sized so I don’t get bored.
Great content and teachers. App works well 95% of the time.

I recently completed a Big Data & Hadoop course, and I must say—it was a game-changer! The curriculum was thoughtfully structured, covering everything from HDFS and MapReduce to advanced topics like Hive, Pig, and Spark. The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and explained complex concepts in a way that made them feel approachable, even for beginners. What I appreciated most was the hands-on approach. Real-world projects and interactive assignments helped me apply what I learned, making the entire experience practical and engaging. The course not only deepened my understanding of big data ecosystems but also gave me the confidence to work on real-time data problems.I’d highly recommend this course to anyone stepping into the world of data or looking to enhance their data engineering skills. Truly worth it!

C'était vraiment intense, mais que de chemin parcouru depuis le 1er jour. Les cours sont hyper complets et permette d'atteindre l'objectif au bout de 9 semaines: créer un site web et savoir utiliser toutes les fonctionnalités principales.

My experience at the WBS Coding School web development bootcamp was incredible and beyond what I’d hoped for. The amount I learned in such a short time was impressive, thanks to the exceptional instructors. They were not only experts in their field but also patient, approachable, and truly dedicated to helping each of us succeed. Their energy and encouragement made every lesson exciting, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to guide me through my coding journey.

The success of everything starts with the atmosphere surrounding it. Code Campus provided a healthy and encouraging climate that inspired me to believe more in the possibility of succeeding in a tech career. The facilitators were not just good at their stuff but were passionate to have us learn and practice what they taught. Their after-course support is also great. I really do recommend Code Campus as the go-to place for learning tech.

Excellent After Sales support and service by Afreen Aga...Thank You...
She was there for my query whenever I raised a ticket.
Regarding studies at edureka : Its a good learning experience. They shifted my batch just on a single request .
That too not just once , twice.

I would like to hear from someone in regards to the legitimacy of this Bootcamp. The terms and conditions above say that UCI can remove any post or rating here but they can’t do that for posts on Reddit. What’s odd is the universally positive reviews here yet, Reddit has dozens and dozens of posts that don’t show a hint of anything positive regarding the bootcamps. There are even instructors on there who add to those comments about why the program is a scam. Besides the fact that it heavily implies it’s UCI affiliated but is actually a Trilogy company that uses UCI for branding purposes.

The program is not equipped with appropriate instructors. They know their material very well but do not know how to teach them. All they do is literally read through their lines of code and then send us to breakout rooms to then all agree unanimously that what we were just “taught” isn’t teaching us anything. There is absolutely no difference between knowledge acquired through the classes so far and what I have gained from outside sources and YouTube videos. It’s just not reasonable anyway to claim things like JavaScript being able to be learned in 2 days. There’s too much relevant content even if the instructor was good. And the projects and homework aren’t helpful. They don’t reinforce anything since they are pass and no pass with unlimited submissions. The misrepresentation of these bootcamps are illegally implicated. There is not one graduate from here on Reddit that doesn’t say that adding this bootcamp to your resume will do much more harm than having nothing at all. Companies know the reputation of Trilogy and Edx. This is false advertising and fraud at the very least. I did not pay $13,000 for being babysat on zoom and then having to do my own outside studying to learn. That defeats the entire purpose. So why wouldn’t I pursue this legally? This is class-action level.

Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend it. Still waiting a refund from the same owner which just closed the doors and opened another 2 universities. No follow ups and no answers for over 6 months. They don’t treat the students in a nice way.

i was pretty scared to start this course especially since my current career is in childcare, but it was not nearly as intimidating as i thought it would be! Mark and Varun are amazing instructors!!
