The Data Science Career Track and the Data Analytics Career Track include subjects like natural language processing, computer vision, machine learning engineering and marketing analytics and aim to prepare students for jobs in data science. Once a candidate passes the admission standard, Techlent designs a customized study plan to send to students to review. Once students accept the study plan and the designated mentor, and sign a contract, the learning begins.
When students finish all courses, pass technical tests, and complete their projects, Techlent considers them graduated and ready for job hunting. Techlent helps students revise their resumes, holds 1-on-1 mock whiteboard interviews, and provides free weekly pair-coding, career advice, support, and internal referral opportunities.

Received FLAG company's offer after training with Guo, Jacky and Kailin. They have been extremely helpful and responsible designing and teaching customized courses including SQL and PYTHON, and the course in preparation for behavior questions. I graduated from US top 50th University with dual bachelor degrees but, after 2 years of working at a startup company, I still feel like there is a distance between my ability and the real industry job descriptions. After understanding of my situation, Jacky and Kailin designed and customized the course as they did for each applicant, setup training schedule for each week and provided training materials with pertinence(eg. window functions in SQL, A/B testing in Python, thinking process during the interview). Guo is very reliable keeping you on track as he organzied meeting weekly for applicants sharing our feedbacks after interviews and practice leetcodes together. I feel much more confident during the interview as my abilities got huge improved during each week's 1on1 training and group studies. Overall it was a great outcome and I would definitely recommend taking this course if you are seeking for an analyst opportunity.

Great courses
The data scientist track include Machine Learning and SQL training. ML course is very efficient, you can learning all the popular models which are used in the industry in a very short time. And the questiones including in each chapter all most covered 95% Data Scientist technique interview questions. SQL training is practicing of real problem solving. You don't need to waste time on basic concepts. After the training, the instructor also follow all the job hunting prosess. I think it is very important. You can avoid lots of mistakes. Great course!

Without this course with Techlent I can’t get this job. I was trained by 2 instructors about machine learning and advanced SQL for 1.5 months. They have very efficient, customize course design. These two instructors are patient and respond to me within 24 hrs. They taught me not only knowledge but also the career path and interview skills. It’s not like any other bootcamps which one instructor teach 20-30 students. In that big class, you won’t have a lot of chances to communicate with instructors and focus on your weaknesses. Everyone follows the same schedule and syllabus. I chose Techlent because I’d like to have a customized course and 1:1 communication with instructors. So I can focus on what I want to learn and save my time on what I already learned. That’s why I started with a digital marketer knowing nothing about machine learning but ended with my dream job.

Overpriced camp
I recently completed the Techlent Data Science Bootcamp, and I must say that my experience left much to be desired. Let me break down my thoughts into several key areas.
Firstly, the price of the bootcamp is exorbitant. I found it to be overpriced compared to other options available in the market. Considering the shortcomings I encountered, I expected more value for the investment I made.
Secondly, it is important to note that the apparent success of this bootcamp in previous years may have been more a result of the booming job market in 2020-2021 rather than the actual efficacy of the camp itself. This is worth considering when evaluating the claims made by Techlent.
Furthermore, I found the curriculum to be outdated. Given the rapidly evolving field of data science, it is crucial for a bootcamp to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies. Unfortunately, Techlent fell short in this regard, with material that did not adequately cover recent advancements and techniques.
One major disappointment was the lack of support from both instructors and the founder. The instructors seemed impatient when it came to answering questions, which hindered the learning process. Additionally, despite paying the tuition fee, I found it extremely frustrating that the founder was unresponsive to my inquiries. This lack of support and guidance left me feeling isolated and unsupported throughout the bootcamp.
Lastly, it became apparent that the success of the program heavily relied on self-study and peer support rather than the expertise of the instructors. While collaborative learning can be beneficial, it should not replace the role of qualified instructors who can provide in-depth knowledge and guidance.
In conclusion, I would not recommend the Techlent Data Science Bootcamp. The high price, reliance on outdated curriculum, lack of support from instructors and the founder, and the expectation of self-study make it an underwhelming option for those seeking a comprehensive and effective data science education. For example, in early 2022, the median time for our students to receive a job offer was approximately 3 weeks. However, during the latter half of 2022, the economy experienced a downturn, leading to an increase in the median time to about 2 months. While we cannot control economic circumstances, we are dedicated to help our students to succeed under any circumstances. We had carefully reviewed the challenges our students encountered in the interviews, and added courses like Machine Learning Mindset, Resumes of Data Scientists, and Story-Telling Skills for Data Scientists to help our students better prepare for their interviews. We regularly host mock interview sections and office hours to go through each student’s background and help them polish their stories and resumes. All those efforts helped our students successfully land jobs in such a bad environment.
We apologize if you felt unsupported and isolated during your learning process. We’ll improve to provide a better experience. However, we firmly believe in promoting self-study and peer learning, which is a key feature in our camp. We spent lots of effort to organize activities like pair coding, group discussions, mock interviews etc.; to ensure students' attendance, to track their process and to provide timely feedback to guide them move forward. These initiatives are designed to equip students with the skills they need to succeed in real job interviews and work environments.
While it might be easier if we just handed out answers directly to our students, it’s more important they get those answers themself during those efforts. We have observed that those who actively participate in such activities are faster to land job offers, and they in general perform better later in the real job environment.
