I definitely had some reservations going into this program. My main concern was the quality of the network of companies that partnered with the program and thankfully, they didn't let me down on that front! Immediately after completing SVA, I was able to land interviews at 6 different companies and got an offer after 2 weeks with a start-up that's got an unbelievable trajectory to success! Trust me, I was absolutely surprised by the quick turnaround. Keep in mind that the job-hunting experience is truly different for each candidate. There are some folks in my cohort that are still on the hunt.  

As for the program itself, I can't state this enough: You get what you put in. If you're serious about making a leap into tech, treat this program like you would treat a new job. Put in the effort and take every lesson seriously and you'll start to see the results. You're training for a difficult role and you'll want to hone every one of your skills to totally rock it in that position.

I would highly recommend joining SV Academy if you want to break into the SaaS industry.  SVA provides 300+ hours of training and hands-on experience needed for an SDR in the SaaS industry. I have just completed the program and I now have a career transitions team that is working with me and helping me get my application to jobs that I am interested in applying to along with company partners that SVA works with, graduated typically get hired in less than a month.  I am also matched up with a career coach that will be helping me along with a mentor.  Amazingly, the support does not just end once graduated from SVA.  SVA is dedicated to getting me an interview and landing a job after the program. Do NOT HESITATE, APPLY.  My advice to anyone looking for a new path. It doesn't matter if your fresh out of school or a seasoned employee.  My wife and I have seen an immediate impact on our life. I enjoyed my experience at SV academy, I was INCREDIBLY skeptical at first because it just sounds too good to be true, but within two weeks after the program I landed a salaried SDR role at an amazing company. 

The community is supportive and wants the best for you, which makes it easy to commit to the coursework and be an active member of the SV community.

SV Academy has given me the foundation I need to enter the Tech industry ( Coming in from a different field). From my mentor to program manager, everyone is so encouraging and helpful.  Trust me when I say, you will have to work your butt off and the program is not easy (PT or FT)  but, if you have that ambition/ determination, you will get through it. My journalism career stagnated so I transitioned into tech sales. I wanted  a career with longevity and a clear path to promotion. That’s how I found myself at SV Academy. I loved that the curriculum was organized to focus on the SDR role itself, interview preparation and building one’s Emotional Quotient. I felt supported throughout the program with coaching from my project manager Kristian. He was readily available to answer questions. When we graduate and began the interview process we are set up with a career coach and a mentor. I think the coaching and mentorship was easily my favorite part of the fellowship. The job hunt can be stressful so it was great to have my career transition coach Michele and mentor Madeline to be a sounding board. When I came upon this program, I 100% thought it was a scam. I decided to do the first week free of commitment just to see if it really was as sketchy as I thought and could not have been more wrong!

 First of all, Emily was brilliant as a pod leader. Super knowledgeable, experienced, and approachable, she really facilitated an atmosphere in which everyone felt comfortable asking questions and putting themselves out there in order to learn. I also really appreciated the access to Rahim! Hearing his real passion for the company's mission was huge in helping me realize that the process and the company were legit. I had the best pod of all time as well -- everyone was incredibly supportive and interested in helping one another succeed.

 The biggest reason I feel comfortable recommending the program is that having SVA on my resume REALLY HELPED ME TO GET INTERVIEWS -- and even better, I landed a SIX FIGURE job before the program even ended. I don't have much experience with the Job Assistance side of things because I went out on my own and applied for jobs throughout the program, so I can't really speak on that other than Kehau expertly helping me to prepare for one of my interviews and advising me on my salary negotiations.

But overall I love SVA and have recommended it to several of the people closest to me!! Read less

I first heard of SV Academy from my husband who had come across an advertisement on IG. After researching SV I was thinking this can't be right?!? I only have to complete an 8-week course and can earn 79K or more.  Although I was skeptical after reading several reviews I thought why not, and decided to apply. Once Accepted I was eager to start my courses and network with other like-minded individuals. 
Going into SV Academy I had no experience with accelerated course work coming from a traditional 4-year university background. I felt a little overwhelmed during the first 2 weeks but I quickly adapted and found my way. One thing that kept me focused and determined to not only complete the program in 8 weeks but also take advantage of the networking opportunities was having my Program Managers voice in the back of my mind saying " remember your why".  
SV Academy changed my life in more ways than one. Going through the program enhanced my mindset when it comes to understanding the importance of a work-life balance. It also was proof that I can accomplish my goals in a short amount of time with hard work and a solid support system. I received nothing but support from start to finish from the program manager, cohorts, mentor, and career coach. After earning my certification as a Sales Development Rep an employer partner was impressed with my resume and an overall job well done at SV Academy and wanted to interview me. I felt more than prepared to interview with them and I am now proud to say that after 3 weeks of completing the program I accepted an awesome offer! 
So if you're on the fence about applying for SV Academy my advice is to leap because the reward on the other side is life-changing.  Read less

I can't say enough good things about SV Academy. When I graduated university, it was extremely difficult to find an entry-level job, so I was highly skeptical that a 1-month course could radically change my career prospects. Boy was I wrong!
5 years ago I doubled my income, and it was the most amazing thing to ever happen. SV Academy, in one month, got me a job offer allowing me to repeat the feat and more than double my income again. 
Drastic change is always possible, and I am truly grateful to so many individuals that have been instrumental in my success: 
Myn- my recruiter. Thank you for following up and not giving up on me. You were convinced the program would benefit me and you were absolutely right.
Emily- my program manager. You're the best and you know it. Every day was started with positivity, kindness, and inclusion. I learned so much and had a blast doing it. 
Brandon- my career transition mgr. You set me up with interviews at 4 solid companies without me ever needing to apply. 2 of those companies extended offers, one of which represents the fulfillment of a long-held financial goal. 

My favorite thing about SV is the way they have set up the tuition. I paid zero up-front, and will end up paying back the amount over time in interest-free installments from my new position. I love that the school is incentivized in your success. They don't make money unless they can actually get you to earn above a certain amount. I wish traditional universities were similarly  accountable for the success of their graduates. 

$10k to make $20k+ more per year sounded too good to be true. Believe me when I tell you it is not.

I loved my SV Academy experience! It is a challenging and rewarding program that equips you for success in your future tech-related role. Everything I was taught is EXACTLY what was needed to excel in my current tech sales role. Each staff member at SV is committed to seeing you do well and checking in with you. They also make themselves available for questions and concerns via different methods so you never feel lost/isolated. SV Academy also encourages an atmosphere for collaboration, encouragement and support to be shared amongst students and staff alike. There is always someone to uplift you or chat with when the program seems to get tough or you need advice/feedback. If you have any doubts about SV, throw them away right now. I left my job as a Campus Director working for a non-profit looking for something different. Two things I knew, one was that I wanted to be back in sales, and two I wanted to be involved in tech. When SV Academy came up on my timeline it was presented as a low risk opportunity. I took the leap and I am glad I did. What you learn through SV Academy truly prepares you for the fast paced tech industry. It provides you with the knowledge and confidence to not only break into the industry but also thrive. The support that you receive from your fellow students, teachers, and SV Academy faculty is unmatched.  The lessons are practical and easily applicable. The support doesn't stop after completion of the Bootcamp. You're also trained and supported through different interview processes and job searches.

I was fortunate to go through 7 different interview processes, receive 3 offers and land my first position in tech within a month of completing the program.

I have had the greatest experience here at SV Academy. It was hard work but in the end, it was all worth it. I highly recommend anyone going into sales or looking for opportunities in sales to give this school a try. Once i decided to take the leap and go all in I later found out that taking this course was one of the best decisions I've ever made from the Program Managers to my classmates everyone was so supportive and helpful and I was able to learn a lot from everyone and gain new friendships and mentorships.
