SV Academy is an intensive tech sales training provider that offers a 4-week full-time and 8-week part-time online high-growth sales training program. The full-time schedule has a 40-hour-per-week time commitment for the first 4 weeks of training while the part-time schedule requires about 20 hours per week for the first 8 weeks. SV Academy combines hands-on, intensive training with a strong network, career transition support, and career coaching to help job seekers launch meaningful high-growth business careers. During the training phase, learners will attend live classes, complete weekly assignments, improve their interview readiness, and participate in a live employer project. SV Academy focuses on training job seekers in high-growth sales, an approach pioneered by tech companies and now in demand across all industries. This approach is less about schmoozing than traditional sales, and more focused on data, agile processes, user empathy, and strategic problem-solving.
To be eligible for admission, an applicant must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. The application process involves completing an online application, submitting and passing a written assessment, and a final interview with an admissions director. No prerequisite skills, business experience, or a perfect GPA is needed for enrollment. SV Academy is looking for committed job seekers with strong written and verbal communication abilities who are coachable and eager to start building their business careers and transform their lives.
After successfully completing the 4-week full-time or 8-week part-time training, a dedicated Career Transition Manager will help program participants navigate the job search process. SV Academy will also match and facilitate warm introductions between job seekers and prospective employers with open roles. After getting hired, SV Academy graduates will receive professional career coaching for the first 6 months, helping them to maneuver the rough spots of beginning a new career and put them on a path toward a promotion.

I definitely had some reservations going into this program. My main concern was the quality of the network of companies that partnered with the program and thankfully, they didn't let me down on that front! My main concern was the quality of the network of companies that partnered with the program and thankfully, they didn't let me down on that front! Immediately after completing SVA, I was able to land interviews at 6 different companies and got an offer after 2 weeks with a start-up that's got an unbelievable trajectory to success! Trust me, I was absolutely surprised by the quick turnaround. Keep in mind that the job-hunting experience is truly different for each candidate. There are some folks in my cohort that are still on the hunt.
As for the program itself, I can't state this enough: You get what you put in. If you're serious about making a leap into tech, treat this program like you would treat a new job. Put in the effort and take every lesson seriously and you'll start to see the results. You're training for a difficult role and you'll want to hone every one of your skills to totally rock it in that position.

When we graduate and began the interview process we are set up with a career coach and a mentor. I think the coaching and mentorship was easily my favorite part of the fellowship. The job hunt can be stressful so it was great to have my career transition coach Michele and mentor Madeline to be a sounding board. First of all, Emily was brilliant as a pod leader. Super knowledgeable, experienced, and approachable, she really facilitated an atmosphere in which everyone felt comfortable asking questions and putting themselves out there in order to learn. I also really appreciated the access to Rahim! Hearing his real passion for the company's mission was huge in helping me realize that the process and the company were legit. I had the best pod of all time as well -- everyone was incredibly supportive and interested in helping one another succeed.
The biggest reason I feel comfortable recommending the program is that having SVA on my resume REALLY HELPED ME TO GET INTERVIEWS -- and even better, I landed a SIX FIGURE job before the program even ended. I don't have much experience with the Job Assistance side of things because I went out on my own and applied for jobs throughout the program, so I can't really speak on that other than Kehau expertly helping me to prepare for one of my interviews and advising me on my salary negotiations.

Although I was skeptical after reading several reviews I thought why not, and decided to apply. Once Accepted I was eager to start my courses and network with other like-minded individuals.
Going into SV Academy I had no experience with accelerated course work coming from a traditional 4-year university background. I felt a little overwhelmed during the first 2 weeks but I quickly adapted and found my way. One thing that kept me focused and determined to not only complete the program in 8 weeks but also take advantage of the networking opportunities was having my Program Managers voice in the back of my mind saying " remember your why".
SV Academy changed my life in more ways than one. Going through the program enhanced my mindset when it comes to understanding the importance of a work-life balance. It also was proof that I can accomplish my goals in a short amount of time with hard work and a solid support system. I received nothing but support from start to finish from the program manager, cohorts, mentor, and career coach. After earning my certification as a Sales Development Rep an employer partner was impressed with my resume and an overall job well done at SV Academy and wanted to interview me. I felt more than prepared to interview with them and I am now proud to say that after 3 weeks of completing the program I accepted an awesome offer!

5 years ago I doubled my income, and it was the most amazing thing to ever happen. SV Academy, in one month, got me a job offer allowing me to repeat the feat and more than double my income again.
Drastic change is always possible, and I am truly grateful to so many individuals that have been instrumental in my success:
Myn- my recruiter. Thank you for following up and not giving up on me. You were convinced the program would benefit me and you were absolutely right.
Emily- my program manager. You're the best and you know it. Every day was started with positivity, kindness, and inclusion. I learned so much and had a blast doing it.
Brandon- my career transition mgr. You set me up with interviews at 4 solid companies without me ever needing to apply. 2 of those companies extended offers, one of which represents the fulfillment of a long-held financial goal.
My favorite thing about SV is the way they have set up the tuition. I paid zero up-front, and will end up paying back the amount over time in interest-free installments from my new position. I love that the school is incentivized in your success. They don't make money unless they can actually get you to earn above a certain amount. I wish traditional universities were similarly accountable for the success of their graduates.
$10k to make $20k+ more per year sounded too good to be true. Believe me when I tell you it is not.
