I completed the part-time online Coding Booth Camp. Our primary stack was MongoDB, Express, React, and Node (MERN). I completed the part-time online Coding Booth Camp. Our primary stack was MongoDB, Express, React, and Node (MERN). We learned several other languages/libraries in support/additon to those previously mentioned. Yes the class was challenging, fast paced and frustrating at times and I throughly enjoyed it. The bootcamp is very up front about learning being your responsibility but with that said there is a lot of support to help you succeed. My instructor was kind and helpful. The TA's (teaching assistance) provided great encouragement and direction. The student success manager (SSM) went out of her way to listen to me vent and provide helpful resources. My class-mates (cohort) were (still are) good people and were more than willing to assist when possible. As our class progressed the structure/layout of information and assistance improved. Also included in the course I could sign up for a one hour weekly one-on-one tutoring sessions with a seperate tutor. This I found extremely helpful. The only overall con is that there is no guarantee of a job but there is career coaching that continues after graduation.
