CompTIA Tech Career Academy offers an 8-week in-person or 16-week online IT-Ready Technical Support bootcamp. In-person bootcamps are available in Charlotte, Chicago, Phoenix, Twin Cities, and Portland, Oregon. In-person bootcamp classes are held Monday through Friday from 8 to 4 pm. Online bootcamp classes are held either 9 am to noon or 6 pm to 9 pm on weekdays.

IT-Ready Technical Support students will learn how to build a computer from parts, install software, troubleshoot problems, and set up and manage networks. Students will learn security, networking, operating systems, IT operations, troubleshooting, and technical support. At the end of the bootcamp, IT-Ready Technical Support students will sit for the CompTIA++ certification exam. The exam and one free retake are included in the cost of tuition. Bootcamp graduates will be prepared for jobs in entry-level tech support roles, including computer support specialists, building and maintaining an IT environment for businesses, and assisting internal and external customers.

No prior tech experience is required to apply for the bootcamp. Applicants should be a high school graduate or GED holder, over 18 years old, US citizen or authorized to work in the US, motivated and able to commit to training, able to use a computer to navigate a Windows environment, and able to demonstrate learning, communication, and problem solving skills. After completing three assessments, some applicants will be selected for an interview before being granted admission to the bootcamp.

CompTIA Tech Career Academy works with local employers to connect students with job opportunities. Career placement assistance is available for alumni until they secure employment. IT-Ready Technical Support students also receive assistance with resume creation, communication, customer service, and interviewing.

CompTIA Tech Career Academy bootcamp may offer grants for students historically underrepresented in the tech industry and military veterans, spouses, and caregivers. Payment plans may also be available.
