VDCI's two-course sequence covers models, floor plans, elevations, schedules, families and sheet layouts. Students learn how information in a BIM model connects to its drawings, with a completion certificate for the fundamentals training.

Overview
A 60-hour introduction to Revit built from the introductory and intermediate courses. Students learn BIM modeling tools by building architectural models, including existing buildings, partial demolition, new construction, and site topography with landscaping.
Coursework also covers preparing construction documents, managing project phasing, generating plan, section, and elevation views for sheet layouts, and producing renderings for presentation and documentation. Tuition includes three months of Revit access.
