Teacher amanda buckner and TA lorrela bain were amazing and helpful. The generation curriculum has many issues. Inefficient use of time and unrealistic expectations with group work. Too much time on mindset/behavioral skills at the expense of tech skills that will be asked of us on the job. Need to spend more time on the difficult sections like SEO to make sure everyone learns what is neccessary. Please give the instructor more flexibility to alter the cirriculum for student benefits. Guest speakers were a great addition. If your teacher is excellent like mine was its all worth it.

Rude Teacher

One of the instructors is pretty rude. She says to communicate and ask questions, but cuts you off and answers everything with an attitude. Also, I'm not going to say that she treats adult students like children because as a teacher you shouldn't treat children that way either. She has a total lack of respect. This is pretty daunting because we've only just started so to think there are several months left with her attitude is making me already dislike this class.  On the other hand I'm glad we have the teaching assistant so I'm just going to go directly to him if I have questions. I'm not sure if this lady has been jaded by previous students, but she needs to change her attitude. This is an opportunity students are supposed to be grateful for, but she's making it unpleasant.

Digital Marketing Cohort

I feel very blessed to have found the Generation USA Program. During my cohort I was able to sharpen skills, learn new skills but, most importantly rebuild my confidence. I have been able to build a portfolio while growing a network with an amazingly talented group in my cohort.

When you take 1 year of content & training in all things related to digital marketing and condense it into a 10-week course with Tutors/Lecturers that actually give a damn then you have Generation USA Digital Marketing Analyst Bootcamp. The only thing I would suggest is if you can take the Google analytics and Facebook/Meta's Digital Marketing Associate exam before you start the boot camp as it will be intense...but you can do it.
