Overview
At 440 hours across thirteen courses, this is the longest of VDCI's interior design tracks and it focuses on commercial rather than residential work. Coursework covers design principles, color theory, materials and finishes, architectural drafting and graphics, and commercial blueprint reading.
The software sequence runs through Revit, including Revit for interior design and Revit with Twinmotion for interior rendering, then SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop, closing with a visual communication and portfolio course. Students produce construction documents, 3D models, and presentation material for commercial spaces.
