Summary

This two-day course takes participants from their first Claude conversation to a personal AI system built around their own job. The first half covers the five-part prompt, working with images, PDFs, spreadsheets, and documents inside a conversation, and bringing in current information with web search. Participants set up Projects with instructions and a knowledge base, create Artifacts, build a Skill that carries their voice or a repeatable task, and configure Memory. They then move to intermediate techniques, including reasoning they can check, multi-step tasks, dictation, and the “You Ask Me” interview approach, along with a practical framework for choosing between Claude and other AI tools.

The second half moves into Claude Cowork for work handed over whole: a layered context system, instructions that persist across sessions, approval modes, file permissions, and network settings, plus the defenses against prompt injection. Participants connect Claude to Slack, Google Drive, and Gmail, work in the Chrome side panel, and run Claude inside Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. They install role-specific Plugins, set up Scheduled Tasks, and apply three checks to any output before using it. A guided capstone closes the course, in which each participant audits their own week, connects the tools their top tasks depend on, and runs one real task end to end.

Who this course is for

This hands-on course is for professionals in any role or sector who want practical, structured mastery of Claude AI - knowledge workers, managers and team leads, project managers, analysts and researchers, and HR, operations, finance, and communications professionals. This course takes participants from their first Claude chat to building and running a complete AI workflow they can use in day-to-day work. Participants learn how to set up and manage custom Projects, connect the right tools, add role-specific Plugins, and create automated tasks that reduce friction in common responsibilities. The course also covers prompting across five practical use cases, building Projects with persistent instructions and knowledge bases, and personalizing Claude with Artifacts, Styles, and Memory. To improve consistency and output quality, participants practice advanced collaboration techniques, including chain-of-thought reasoning and the “You Ask Me” method.

In the second half of the course, participants shift to Claude Cowork, Anthropic’s desktop agent built to work directly with files and connected tools. They design a context system, set guardrails, connect workplace integrations, install Plugins, and build recurring automations aligned to their role. The course ends with a capstone project in which each participant designs an end-to-end Claude system for their own job and produces a practical deliverable they can use immediately.
