Before starting the AI for Business course, I knew how to use ChatGPT, and that was about as far as my AI knowledge went.Two to three months later, I had built a semi-automated social media reporting system in Google Sheets using Apps Script, the Gmail API, and NewsAPI. It pulls LinkedIn and Instagram data, generates weekly content ideas from newsletters in my inbox and news headlines, and runs a content planning calendar with performance tracking. What used to take me eight hours a month now takes around 30 minutes.The automations module was my favourite. I started prompting AI to write the code I needed, which led me down an Apps Script rabbit hole. As a growth marketing manager, I have worked in Google Sheets and Excel my entire career, and I had genuinely no idea how many things I could automate in the tools I use every single day. What also changed was how I think about repetitive tasks. I can now tell pretty quickly whether something is a five-minute automation, a bigger project worth investing time in, or something that makes more sense to keep doing manually.The content was relevant and up to date, so I could apply what I was learning at work pretty much straight away. In my cohort, we had people from completely different industries and roles, which made it clear that this course works regardless of your background or what you do for a living.

I’ve recently completed Turing College’s AI for Business Analytics program and I'm really happy with the experience. The course offers lots of valuable learning material and is pretty clear structured. What stood out the most to me were the workshops and each sprint's one on one reviews — they were practical, engaging, and gave me the chance to test how AI can be applied using different tools and programs that were completely new to me. Most of the sessions were led by experienced specialists who explained everything clearly and made the learning feel approachable. I’m leaving the program with stronger skills and recommend it if you want real, applicable skills.

What I appreciate the most is the self-paced structure of the program. It allows me to tailor the learning journey to my own rhythm and preferences. The platform provides clear, structured materials and encourages learning by doing, which makes the knowledge stick much more effectively. Whenever I encountered challenges, I found support available, but I also appreciated that I was trusted to take ownership of my learning. This independence is very empowering, especially because each learner has their own way of understanding complex topics. For me, this method has proven very effective. In summary, I would recommend this course to anyone who values flexibility, hands-on practice, and a well-balanced mix of structure and autonomy. It’s a great environment for both beginners and those with some experience to grow their skills in a modern and relevant field.

As a Team Manager, data analysis is a crucial part of my daily work, and this course significantly expanded my skill set. I gained valuable experience in different AI models, understanding their strengths and knowing which ones are best suited for specific tasks.One of the most practical takeaways was learning SQL—I not only enjoyed working with it but also started using it in my workflow instead of creating duplicated data in linked datasheets. Additionally, I now understand the importance of data cleaning before analysis and, most importantly, testing methodologies. AI can always generate answers, but ensuring their accuracy when working with data is essential.Another key learning was the basics of Python, which opened my eyes to its power in automation.
