On Tuesday, July 15th, Lighthouse Labs launched our brand-new website. It featured a completely new design, video, a fresh application process, and more. The most interesting part of it all was that it was developed by our students for their final project.

We're excited to present the results of our latest survey of graduates in the bootcamp space. We surveyed graduates from 48 qualifying programming schools and received 432 responses from graduates that met the criteria.
The majority of graduates of coding bootcamps are finding full-time employment, and 75% of graduates surveyed report being employed in a full-time job requiring the skills learned at bootcamp, with an average salary increase of 44%.

So she applied to gSchool, the 6-month Rails-based course in Denver, Colorado. Steven Weiss and Shawn Broukhim graduated from the General Assembly Web Development Immersive in April 2014 with a baseline knowledge of software development, but felt like they needed more structured learning and career development. They both got fellowships with the NYC Dev Shop, the self-described "Grad School for Bootcamps" and are currently working in project management and development. We talk to Steven & Shawn about their advice to future General Assembly students, how they've continued to learn after graduating, and their fellowship at NYC Dev Shop.
