User Experience Design Courses

Intense, fun, worthwhile

After completing Devmountain's Coding Basics course, I promptly enrolled in the 16-week full time React Web Development Boot Camp. I knew of people who had taken this specific course and obtained employment immediately post-graduation. I come from a long career in healthcare with no prior coding knowledge prior to enrolling at Devmountain and, although it was difficult to fully grasp the concep...

Awesome school to choose!

The instructors are fantastic at helping explain things so we understand well. Also the career services works well with us to give us what we need to be successful. We learn multiple languages that help to be successful in our careers, and give us a launch into the field. There is a lot of support in general, including from other students, and a lot of good suggestions for websites to use to co...

Review of online study experience

Due to family reasons, I took the full programme online, thus my experience might differ a little from those who studied in person. I certainly might have missed out on getting to know my classmates better but I’m more of an introverted person anyways, thus studying online would have been my preferred choice even if I did not have small kids at home and did not live 600 km away from Prague :) H...

Lovely people and great course!

I graduated from IO academy a year ago. It is truly a brilliant course! It is diverse enough for you to collect a range of knowledge and skills to equip you with a great start in software and find your interest. The teachers are really lovely, very professional and clearly take great pride in making the curriculum the best it can be. I found a job within 2 weeks of finishing and have just had m...

flexible, insightful and practical Course for UX

I'm overall happy with the course. It’s flexible, insightful, and includes practical tasks with great mentor support. High-quality content and useful resources Practical tasks, described well - can be challenging for newbies Flexible self-study - Requires self-discipline Additional Figma introduction available Mentor support for feedback, questions, and experience exchange

Great mix of theory and practice

I really enjoyed the UX Visual Design course. Coming from a user research background, I wanted to learn more about UI and design systems and this course gave me exactly that. The tasks were practical, the feedback was helpful, and I now feel more confident combining research and design in my work.

Sydney Shillington Experience 2019

I attended Shillington College of Graphic Design at the Sydney campus in a full-time capacity which was an exciting decision for me. I completely did a 180 from working full time after many years to studying full time. I was unsure of how it would all turn out but looking back can advise it was well worth diving in and meeting liked minded new friends and entered a new community. We all quickly...

Life changing!

What an experience! I started with no technical adobe suite knowledge and a heart full of passion and excitement, and finished with a working knowledge of Adobe Suite, a group of amazing people I can now call friends, a portfolio of work that I am proud of and a creative support network. The course is full on and a lot of hard work, but because I was keen to expand my skillset and push myself t...

Overall not worth the money

Gets a lot of glowing reviews but I think it depends where you study. I was at the Manchester campus both before and during lockdowns and the tutors were under lots of pressure. The first class I was put in before any lockdown had over 20 students so it was very stretched. It’s a large workload and very difficult to manage with a full time job, especially when you start from absolute scratch so...
