The mobile app development courses are for true hackers. A full list of courses can be found here.
Students will be able to implement Android and IOS applications from start to finish as they will learn how to design, develop and test their own app. During the course, students learn the principles of a planned design process, write and implement test plans, and will be able to identify, describe, and fix bugs.
Acclaim Education was founded by a group of Stanford and Harvard PhDs in science and engineering who understand the skills that are needed to land top-paying, high-profile technology jobs. However, the founders aren’t just academics– they have massive amounts of real-world experience in a broad spectrum of industries in dozens of countries. This experience taught them how to train top-level talent, and that is why they teamed together to form Acclaim Education.

After spending several years in the same field, I felt like I had hit a plateau. My passion for my work was still there, but I knew that in order to grow and take on more challenging roles, I needed to update my skills and broaden my knowledge base. It was a daunting decision to go back to school at my age, especially while managing family, work, and everyday life. However, choosing this institution was one of the best decisions I have ever made."When I first looked into upgrading my career, I wasn’t sure where to start. This institution offered the flexibility I needed, with courses that could be taken online and at my own pace. The idea of learning in a supportive, understanding environment that recognized the challenges of being an older student made all the difference. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and encouraged. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but also empathetic to the fact that many of us were juggling multiple responsibilities outside of our studies. The course materials were comprehensive, practical, and directly applicable to the real-world challenges I was facing in my job. I found that the skills I was learning weren’t just theoretical but highly relevant to the current demands of my industry. Whether it was enhancing my leadership capabilities, improving my technical expertise, or learning new strategies for team management, the knowledge I gained equipped me to move forward in my career with a sense of confidence and purpose. The curriculum was rigorous, but it was designed to make learning both manageable and impactful for someone like me, who was balancing work, family, and other obligations. What truly set this institution apart, though, was the supportive network I had access to. I was able to connect with other like-minded individuals, many of whom were in similar situations. This sense of community was invaluable. We shared our experiences, learned from one another, and celebrated each other’s achievements. I also received continuous support from my professors, who were always available to offer advice, feedback, and encouragement. I never felt like just another student in a large class—every person at the institution truly cared about my success.Another factor that played a key role in my decision to choose this institution was its reputation in the industry. I knew that the credentials I would earn would be recognized and respected. As I continued my studies, I could see how the skills I was gaining were opening new doors for me professionally. Within a few months of completing my courses, I was offered a leadership position that I had once thought was out of reach. I owe much of my success to the education I received here and the personal growth that came with it.Looking back, I can honestly say that returning to school at 40 was one of the best investments I’ve made in myself. It wasn’t easy, but the rewards have been more than worth it. I now feel equipped to take on new challenges and continue progressing in my career. If you’re considering making a similar change, I highly recommend this institution. The programs, support, and community they provide truly make a difference in helping individuals like me reach new heights."Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job supportN/AInstructors5.0
