UW Coding Boot Camp
University of Washington (UW) offers a 12-week, full-time, online web development course. The full stack curriculum includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Express.js, Node.js, databases, MongoDB, MySQL, and Git. The coding boot camp is taught by experienced instructors, and there is extensive student support.
Applicants do not need programming experience to enroll, but once admitted, all students will complete a pre-course tutorial. UW Boot Camps are designed for working professionals and students who are actively pursuing a career change or advancement or looking to gain a new skill set.
Throughout the boot camps, students have access to career planning services, portfolio and resume reviews, technical interview training, virtual tech panels, 1:1 coaching, and more. Graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion from UW Professional & Continuing Education and will have a portfolio of projects demonstrating a working knowledge of web development or financial technology.
University of Washington Boot Camps are offered in collaboration with edX.

Teacher Good, The Rest Bad
I have attended General Assembly, Code Fellows, 42, and the University of Washington Professional and Continuing Education Coding bootcamp. First of all, the teacher Joe was/is amazing and a heck of a programmer and instructor. The curriculum was outdated and more of an introduction, too much time on handlebars and jQuery instead of React. I did appreciate the first 3-4 weeks of Vanilla JavaScript fundamentals. I took the class 13 months ago and magically after a year I get a phone call ...I have attended General Assembly, Code Fellows, 42, and the University of Washington Professional and Continuing Education Coding bootcamp. First of all, the teacher Joe was/is amazing and a heck of a programmer and instructor. The curriculum was outdated and more of an introduction, too much time on handlebars and jQuery instead of React. I did appreciate the first 3-4 weeks of Vanilla JavaScript fundamentals. I took the class 13 months ago and magically after a year I get a phone call saying they can't find a payment and that I owe $2,500 unless I can prove I paid it. You literally are unenrolled from the class if you don't pay on time so it's impossible for me to not have paid. Anyway, go to CodeFellows! Better curriculum, more helpful TA's (I did have 1 exceptional TA at UW). Seriously though, what kind of company/person calls someone up a year later saying that you owe money for something that you already paid?! Fast-Paced
Technology changes so quickly, it must be hard for the lesson creators to keep up. It seemed like some topics could have used more time and some not need learned at all. UW Web Dev Bootcamp
Overall the bootcamp was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get into web dev. My overall experience with UW coding camp is great. The pace of the class is fast, and you need to spend a lot of time on doing the homework and redo the in-class activities. And you will get the support you need from your instructor and TAs. The instructor is knowledgable and you can learn tons of stuff in the class. However, because of the extensive content, the courses are difficult and more focus on back end.

Attending the UW Boot Camp wasinvaluable. I learned as much about code as I did about myself.
