University of New Mexico Continuing Education offers 12- or 26-week, live online bootcamps in cybersecurity, data analytics, and DevOps, available full-time or part-time.
The 12- or 26-week Cybersecurity Bootcamp covers topics like digital forensics, threat modeling, incident response, pen testing, Python, and Linux. Classes are mostly hands-on to give students practical experience in monitoring systems.
The 26-week Data Analytics Bootcamp covers topics like Excel, SQL, Python, AWS, Tableau, data visualization, and data modeling. Students will complete a final project to demonstrate the skills they learned during the course. This class is available part-time.
The 26-week DevOps Bootcamp covers topics like system administration, AWS cloud development, Python, and software development life cycles. Students will complete an extensive capstone project to demonstrate the skills they acquired throughout the course.
These bootcamps are meant for complete beginners and applicants of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. To begin the application process, fill out the information form. Applicants are sent a non-technical logic to complete before an admittance decision is made.
These bootcamps are meant to give students the skills they need to jump-start into a new career. There is no job guarantee, but students will receive career assistance as part of their curriculum.
