New Jersey Institute of Technology offers two, virtual digital skills bootcamps: Cybersecurity and Digital Marketing. New Jersey Institute of Technology Digital Skills Bootcamps are designed for working professionals with evening and weekend course schedules available. These bootcamps are designed for those with no experience in the field, and there are no prerequisites required to enroll in either bootcamp.
New Jersey Institute of Technology Cybersecurity bootcamp consists of a 30-hour introductory course and a 370-hour extended program. The cybersecurity bootcamp covers Microsoft security, computer networking, cloud security, Linux security, network security, and cyber infrastructure and technology. Students learn Python for security, offensive security (ethical hacking), incident response, threat hunting, and game theory strategy in cybersecurity.
New Jersey Institute of Technology Digital Marketing bootcamp consists of a 20-hour introductory course and a 380-hour extended program. The Digital Marketing bootcamp curriculum covers SEO, SEM, data visualization and analytics, HTML + CSS3, e-commerce, and social media marketing. Students will learn UI/UX, email marketing and automation, website development, content writing, Facebook advertising, and Google advertising. Digital Marketing bootcamp students will complete a professional e-portfolio of their work to share with potential employers.
To prepare all learners for the workforce, students receive career services support, including professional networking, interview training, job placement assistance, and consultations devoted to perfecting LinkedIn profiles, eportfolios, and resumes.

Cybersecurity Professional Bootcamp

The bootcamp meets in the evenings and on weekends to accommodate current working professionals. At the end of the introductory course, students take a summary exam and assessment to determine their future in the program. Bootcamp students who continue forward in the program learn Python, Kali Linux, Splunk, Windows Server 2012, how to manage and operate the Linux open-source operating system, and defensive infrastructures. Students learn how to work with Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) solutions and how to apply game theory concepts to organizational defense solutions.
