Emerson College Data Analytics Boot Camp is a 24-week, part-time, online Data Analytics course. Students learn how to collect, analyze, and visualize big data. The curriculum features hand-on learning, and students learn Excel, Python, JavaScript, SQL databases, Tableau, machine learning, fundamental statistics, Git and Github, and more. Students complete projects using real data sets from the worlds of finance, healthcare, government, and social welfare, and these projects are used to build a student's portfolio.
Applicants do not need programming experience to enroll, but once admitted, all students will complete a pre-course tutorial. As the program is part-time, Emerson College Data Analytics Boot Camp is designed for working professionals and students who are actively pursuing a career change, advancement, or looking to gain a new skill set.
Throughout the 24-week boot camp, students have access to career-planning services, portfolio reviews, demo days, and 1:1 career coaching. Students have access to a dedicated profile coach and career director that works with them throughout the program and prepare them to be employer competitive. Graduates will receive a non-credit Certificate of Completion from Emerson College and will have a portfolio of projects demonstrating a working knowledge of data analytics.
