Going into this curriculum, I have had some prior knowledge to web development however, I found after completing the boot camp, I knew so little. This boot camp was very fast paced and packed so much useful information. I learned so much in the past 6 months than I did tinkering by myself within a year and a half. I feel so much more confident now to enter the professional world of full stack development and I couldn’t be more proud of the progress I made in this bootcamp. I highly recommend this boot camp to anyone interested in full stack developments but be prepared to put in HOURS of dedicated time to learning and programming!

I decided to pursue Digital Marketing Boot Camp while trying to  set up in Canada, once  it would be an opportunity to the Canadian experience. I have heard about this course before, but just after a referral I took my decision. It is crucial  to spreading the word about the quality of UofT Boot Camps because people have to invest a good amount of money on it.
I love the overall experience: technical subject, works in groups, teachers and assistants, projects, assessments( where I put theory into practice). Moreover, I hope I am able to develop my career in this area in less than three months.
I would recommend prospective students to paying attention to deadlines. This way they can avoid headaches with assessments.

This course was very hard for those beginning in IT, but is very well worth it if you are interested in changing your career path. The six month were intense information intake which also require hands on experience and projects. Remember one thing if you are new to IT the first few months are very difficult because of the terminology mostly, but later down the road everything falls into place and you'll start to understand and even think like IT. Great course and awesome professor and the TA's, they will help you if you get stuck or not understand something. I just graduated in 2022 June 18 and currently looking for a job in cyber security and studying for my first certificate Security +

Awesome Course, People, and Teaching skills!!!

Overall I really enjoyed the bootcamp. It went by so quickly and it was exactly what i expected it to be. I thought the support was great, they were always checking in and you really felt like they cared about your success.
three things that i wish could have been better.
    1. I wish we had more time for the last group project and I think towards the end of the course it was very stressful to get all your assignments done a few days before the class ended as well as your group project. I felt like in the end I was handing in subpar work for both my assignments as well as my group project. Maybe if we had until the end of the week to finish our assignments then i could have concentrated more on the group project.
    2. I really liked the weekly overview emails i thought it was a great introduction of what to expect in the coming week. The articles were really great and helpful however during the Coding and in particular the UI section of the course it would have been nice to see curated tutorials that were relevant to what we were doing in class. The UI section was particularly hard for me and i felt very overwhelmed with the amount of tutorials online and i think it would have been useful to have some tutorials that the school recommended doing outside of class hours.
    3. Going back to the tutorials i think these also would have been helpful to have before the class started i know there were already a few recommended and i completed all of them but i felt lost once we started.

The Covid-19 pandemic led to changes in the financial industry and more specifically to the limited interaction between advisors and their clientele. With fifteen years of experience in the industry, I realized these changes were necessary and may be the way forward during and after the pandemic. My research on the best course of actions with regards to progressing and being relevant in the ever-changing world of financial planning led me to the U of T SCS Fintech Boot Camp.

The rich history of the University of Toronto coupled with the desired curriculum on financial technology was the deciding factor for what I considered to be great value for my time and money. My proper due diligence in deciding on the U of T SCS Fintech Boot Camp has been rewarded by a very well-run program, the resources on offer and an amazing support team, highlighted by the weekly efforts of the boot camp’s Instructor and his teaching assistants. During these testing times and the stress of work, it was an absolute joy to be introduced and taught the necessary details of an otherwise foreign topic, by the instructional team.

Considering this program, going through the application process and my enrollment has led to me being extremely satisfied and elated with the vast knowledge gathered so far. Furthermore, having absolutely no previous coding experience and only a basic working knowledge of a computer, I would advise any prospective student to simply have an open mind, a capacity to learn and a need to be advantageous over anyone else in their prospective industries when enrolling in the U of T SCS FinTech Boot Camp.

I recently graduated from Data Analytics Bootcamp in Toronto. In the beginning I had so much doubts about starting the program and leaving my previous career after 20 years! I questioned myself if I had made the right call to go back to school and challenge myself at age of 53! I was afraid but kept trying. Every week I learned something new and exciting that pushed me forward. Just one week after my graduation I landed an internship position with a growing Data Analytics company in Silicon Valley. The program was rich and gave me the confidence to take the challenge and do the job. The boot camp opened new doors and gave me new purpose in life.
