University of San Diego Tech Bootcamps by Fullstack Academy
The University of San Diego Tech Bootcamps offer full-time and part-time online training programs in AI & machine learning, coding, cybersecurity, DevOps or product management. These bootcamps are taught live online by industry-experienced instructors and are powered by Fullstack Academy.
In the AI & Machine Learning Bootcamp students will explore practical and theoretical machine learning concepts using real-world tools and graduate with the specialized knowledge needed to apply AI fundamentals in a current role or pursue a new career in the data field.
Cybersecurity Bootcamp students will learn offensive and defensive cybersecurity skills including Linux, automation, pen testing, bash scripting, Python for security, incident response, digital forensics, and NIST framework. Through bootcamp and additional studying, students will also be prepared for industry-recognized training and certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA).
Coding bootcamp students explore web foundations, including HTML, CSS, and DOM. The curriculum also covers a full stack JavaScript curriculum, including Git, SQL, and React.
In the DevOps Bootcamp, students learn how to automate, optimize, and support software development lifecycles.
The Product Management Bootcamp curriculum combines hands-on lessons and interactive technology with foundational material, preparing students for every step of their product management career journey. Learn essential skills spanning the product development life cycle, from ideation to performance analysis.
After submitting an online application, potential students will take a timed nontechnical assessment test covering logical reasoning before receiving an entrance decision. Scholarships may be available.
All bootcamp students receive career guidance including resume assistance, interview preparation, and professional networking.

I graduated from the 2010-USD-CYB-PT cohort and could not have had a better experience. The coursework was clearly laid out and the class sessions were a perfect complement to the pre-work. The Instructor and Instructional Associate provided real world examples and applied industry experience to better prepare the students for the Cybersecurity field. On top of covering a large range of topics (Programming, Linux, Windows, Red Team, Blue Team etc.), the student success and career success...I graduated from the 2010-USD-CYB-PT cohort and could not have had a better experience. The coursework was clearly laid out and the class sessions were a perfect complement to the pre-work. The Instructor and Instructional Associate provided real world examples and applied industry experience to better prepare the students for the Cybersecurity field. On top of covering a large range of topics (Programming, Linux, Windows, Red Team, Blue Team etc.), the student success and career success teams were absolutely phenomenal in ensuring student success as well connecting graduates to relevant work experience and networking. If the students are willing to follow the guidance of the Fullstack team and put in the effort, there is no doubt that they will come out of the bootcamp with the capability to start their career in the Cybersecurity field. I am about to graduate from cybersecurity course on May 2021 from Fullstack academy SDU . My overall rating for this course is satisfied.
Course wasn’t easy and Este fast pace, to the point I get overwhelmed at the beginning, specially with no experience and background. But Fullstack provide as many tools and help along the way to make this journey possible for me. I have so many people to thank for, for my wonder teacher who was kind and knowledgeable. For my Student Aide ( Tanisha ) who were nonstop helping and carrying and pushing. For Roger our teacher and Mr. Parish ( director) who are taking time and patient with me while I was facing many struggles and also not proper English. They gave me necessary attention, time so I will be able to find my way.
Do I go back and make a choice to pick this course? Absolutely. Very good program to transition careers
I graduated from the USD Cyber Bootcamp in 2020, and I was really surprised with how much I learned. The course gave me a lot of hands-on experience, and I feel prepared for my next job. A month before I graduated, a cyber recruiter even reached out to me because she saw my experience in the bootcamp.
I decided to study cyber after working in the gig economy where there weren’t consistent hours or jobs available. I learned about the bootcamp throu...I graduated from the USD Cyber Bootcamp in 2020, and I was really surprised with how much I learned. The course gave me a lot of hands-on experience, and I feel prepared for my next job. A month before I graduated, a cyber recruiter even reached out to me because she saw my experience in the bootcamp.
I decided to study cyber after working in the gig economy where there weren’t consistent hours or jobs available. I learned about the bootcamp through an ad on Facebook saying that this program prepares you to get into cybersecurity. So I just took the chance and applied, and I got in.
I also had a really positive experience with my instructors. They were very nurturing and went the extra mile to make sure I understood the material. I actually contacted them during non-office hours, and they took the time to come out and help me.
