There are also no set starts dates or rigid scheduling. Students can enroll at any time, study from home, and choose whatever study schedule they would like.
The Tech Academy’s bootcamps cover topics including computer science fundamentals, programming basics, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, C#, Python, Bootstrap, jQuery, React.js, project management, Agile, Scrum, MVC, version control, Java, and more. Each bootcamp also includes a Live Project, where students gain real-life experience to add to their resume as well as job placement assistance.
None of The Tech Academy's bootcamps require any tech background or experience. To apply, applicants need to take an IQ test with logic-based questions (to ensure applicants can read, write and perform basic math), followed by an admissions interview.
The final part of every The Tech Academy bootcamp is the Job Placement Course which covers interviewing skills, resume writing, where to find tech jobs, and gives students access to job placement staff who assist students in landing technical positions.

I attended the online Software Developer Boot Camp at The Tech Academy, and I cannot speak highly enough about my experience. I appreciated the flexibility of their self-paced program; it allowed me to move through easier concepts faster and take more time on subjects that were more challenging for me. Once you complete your first Front-End course, you will start applying those skills right away by building your online Developer Portfolio, and you’ll keep adding to this and enhancing it ...I attended the online Software Developer Boot Camp at The Tech Academy, and I cannot speak highly enough about my experience. I appreciated the flexibility of their self-paced program; it allowed me to move through easier concepts faster and take more time on subjects that were more challenging for me. Once you complete your first Front-End course, you will start applying those skills right away by building your online Developer Portfolio, and you’ll keep adding to this and enhancing it as you work your way through the boot camp.
My favorite parts of the entire boot camp were the two Live Projects which resemble an actual work environment and really helped me gain confidence in my skills. The Live Projects really tie everything together, and you will pretty much use everything you learn in the bootcamp during each one. The Version Control and Project Management courses are excellent preparation for each of the Live Projects.
Any time I reached out to any of the instructors they were patient, supportive, and pointed me in the right direction without spoon-feeding me the answers. The Job Placement course and team are an invaluable resource that will get you well-prepared to hit the ground running for interviews. From Admissions all the way through Job Placement, it’s clear that The Tech Academy really wants their students to succeed.
Although it’s not a requirement to graduate, I also highly recommend that you take part in their weekly in-person or online Tech Talks through Meetup where professionals working in the industry offer tips on how to get into and succeed in tech.

I attended this bootcamp for 6 months as a Software Engineering student and this was HARD! Great Experience With No Coding Experience
I came into the program with no coding experience. In my time as a student I was taught many important fundamentals on hardware, software, and even how to code with no prior experience. Software Developer Bootcamp
I was a student in the Software Development bootcamp. During that time I learned the foundations of Python, JavaScript, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, Django, .NET, and version control. Personally, I liked that so much was covered because now that I am job searching I see many languages and frameworks that I at least have a basic understanding of. The Tech Academy was self paced which was new for me but I am very happy with how it turned out. I was able to progress well and also take time off if I ...I was a student in the Software Development bootcamp. During that time I learned the foundations of Python, JavaScript, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, Django, .NET, and version control. Personally, I liked that so much was covered because now that I am job searching I see many languages and frameworks that I at least have a basic understanding of. The Tech Academy was self paced which was new for me but I am very happy with how it turned out. I was able to progress well and also take time off if I needed. There were a string of days where I got the flu and needed rest, and I was able to do that and not fall behind. The instructors are very help both before and during the live projects. The live projects were later in the bootcamp and were a great hands on experience that I will be able to talk about in interviews and build upon.
Pros:
Compared to many bootcamps, TTA was cost effective.
Self paced curriculum allows you to take time off if needed.
Friendly and helpful instructors/staff.
Cons:
I was a student in Eastern Standard Time and they are based in Portland, Oregon. However, this was rarely an issue. I only had 4 or 5 instances where I got stuck first thing in the morning over a 5 month period.

Live project, you get 2 depending on the course you take and they are real world coding experiences where you work with the instructors and other students.

I can't say enough good things about The Tech Academy. I learned so much in such a short period of time.
