I started with zero knowledge of spreadsheets. The course covered all the essentials: navigating the Excel interface, entering and formatting data, using basic formulas like SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, and IF, and understanding cell references. I also learned how to sort and filter data, apply conditional formatting, and create simple charts to visualize information.
What I found most useful was the visual, step-by-step approach. Instead of reading long text, I could watch, pause, and replicate the steps on my own sheet. That made concepts like absolute vs relative references and basic chart building much easier to grasp.
By the end, I could build clean tables, run calculations, and present data in a readable format. It gave me a solid foundation in Excel and the confidence to use it for assignments and personal budgeting.
