SheCodes offers online hands-on coding workshops for women. Students can choose from various workshops, including Basics, a 3-week workshop covering HTML, CSS, and JavaScript introducing students to front-end development. SheCodes offers Plus, an 8-week workshop that teaches everything in Basics along with Bootstrap, Git, GitHub, hosting, APIs, and more. SheCodes Pro is a 24-week workshop where students will learn everything in Basics and Plus, along with Responsive Development and React. SheCodes Max has all of the features of Pro, with extra features to create an impressive coding portfolio, get feedback from expert developers, and a tailored career advice workshop. SheCodes’ mission is to bridge the gender gap in the tech industry.
SheCodes is open to beginners and aims to provide for those who want to enter the tech industry with the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to succeed. There are various workshop packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
During the workshops, a SheCodes instructor will help students build projects like websites and apps for a portfolio to showcase skills to prospective employers. Instructor Matt Delac is a Full-Stack Engineer with over 10 years of experience specializing in JavaScript and Ruby and has worked with international tech companies such as Envato, Google, and Airbnb.

Can't believe I did it! I am so bad with logical and maths stuff from my childhood and I would never thought I could understand coding. Nothing is impossible, and actually it doesn't ask for same skills than scientist stuff. Matt's courses are really clear and I loved doing exercices step by step to understand all the pictures. I absolutely recommend SheCodes!!!
The SheCodes Beginner workshop was great!!! I liked that it was self-paced so I learned at my own pace/time but that motivated me to stay on top of the lessons weekly. The challenges at the end of the lessons were a good way to put into practice what Matt taught. Overall, I think this workshop is a great place to start and it's definitely peaked my interest in coding. Fun coding experience
Though I did not have any academical background knowledge I have always been passionate about having some coding skills. SheCodes program was the perfect solution for me as I was looking for online workshops suitable for a beginner. There was clear objective of each class so I knew what I will be learning each time. Matt was an amazing teacher also. With his explanation I managed to understand concepts that I used to get confused before. Really made it a lot simpler for an average user =)
I started this workshop without knowing pretty much anything about coding. The way everything was explained and the step by step task/challenge dynamic made it really fun to try and code. At first it seems like there's a lot to take in but it works great! As an average user I can now understand a lot more about how coding works and the prospect of being able to use it on my own makes me feel a lot more confident! I hope to take the other 2 workshops as soon as possible, this was so much...I started this workshop without knowing pretty much anything about coding. Best Coding Workshop for Women

The SheCodes workshop really opened a lo of doors for me. I had been trying to learn how to code on my own for some time, but taking that first step is really hard on your own. It's not a very long workshop, so you can't really get to deep, but it is great to get you started.
