SheCodes offers online hands-on coding workshops for women. Students can choose from various workshops, including Basics, a 3-week workshop covering HTML, CSS, and JavaScript introducing students to front-end development. SheCodes offers Plus, an 8-week workshop that teaches everything in Basics along with Bootstrap, Git, GitHub, hosting, APIs, and more. SheCodes Pro is a 24-week workshop where students will learn everything in Basics and Plus, along with Responsive Development and React. SheCodes Max has all of the features of Pro, with extra features to create an impressive coding portfolio, get feedback from expert developers, and a tailored career advice workshop. SheCodes’ mission is to bridge the gender gap in the tech industry.
SheCodes is open to beginners and aims to provide for those who want to enter the tech industry with the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to succeed. There are various workshop packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
During the workshops, a SheCodes instructor will help students build projects like websites and apps for a portfolio to showcase skills to prospective employers. Instructor Matt Delac is a Full-Stack Engineer with over 10 years of experience specializing in JavaScript and Ruby and has worked with international tech companies such as Envato, Google, and Airbnb.

This was an introductory workshop to coding using HTML, CSS, JavaScript via Visual Studio Code. Split over 3 weeks with 2 pieces of homework to submit and challenges along the way, the curriculum built up to a final project which was to design a landing page with interactive elements for a topic or our choice.
I loved it! A totally addictive course, lots of tips and guidance... a great intro and you really see results! A big thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team! Great intro to coding
This workshop was great to start learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! The tutorials were short and sweet and the exercises helped to apply the learnings. Intro to coding!
As a beginner, am so glad I chose SheCodes. The beautifully laid out and well-organized modules as well as the challenging home works helped me learn and enjoy the basics of coding . This surely is just the beginning of a newly developed love for coding . I was amazed at what I could create after just 3 weeks of lessons. Was excited to use the tools I learned to create my own project. Am grateful !

Fantastic Introduction to Coding!
If you have even the slightest interest in coding, I highly recommend SheCodes. It was easy to follow and the material wasn't ever overwhelming (it is fantastic for absolute beginners like myself). Flexible and useful course for learning coding
The course is very well-structured, Matt explains everything in a very clear (and fun) way. I found every homework very challenging: you have really to think about solutions and possibilities.
