The Ohio State University College of Engineering offers an online 24-week Web Developer bootcamp. Classes are part-time and meet in a virtual classroom three days per week. Bootcamp students will learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Express.js, Node.js, and React.js. Bootcamp students will also learn progressive web apps and database theory. Students will learn MongoDB, MySQL, Git, Python, Java, C#, and PHP. 

The bootcamp is designed for working professionals who are actively seeking a career change. No prior coding experience is required. Students who have no tech background can get up to speed through pre-bootcamp tutorials. Graduates of Ohio State University College of Engineering Web Development bootcamp will receive a Certificate of Completion. 

Bootcamp students will work with a dedicated profile coach and career director throughout the bootcamp’s duration and post-graduation. Students receive career planning assistance including portfolio reviews, resume and social media profile support, career content and practice sessions, technical interview training, and 1:1 career coaching. Students will also have the opportunity to attend quarterly online panel discussions with local industry professionals.
