Applicants do not need prior experience to enroll in the boot camps, but once admitted, all students will complete a pre-course tutorial. Northwestern Boot Camps are designed for professionals and students who are actively pursuing a career change or advancement or are looking to gain a new skill set.
Students will benefit from a wide range of career services to be positioned for success through graduation and beyond. Services include portfolio reviews, resume and social media profile support, high-impact career events, workshops, mock interviews, and one-on-one career coaching. Upon program completion, students will receive a Certificate of Completion from Northwestern School of Professional Studies and will have a portfolio of projects or learn skills applicable to certifications demonstrating a working knowledge of web development, data science, cybersecurity, UX/UI, or financial technology.

Northwestern University Full Stack Web Development Coding Bootcamp - Part-Time
I have always had a strong interest in coding and web development. I contemplated a career change a couple times but never pulled the trigger on it. I am currently working in the health and fitness industry, which has always been a passion of mine, but over the last couple years I have battled a couple surgeries that stem back from my baseball days. While recovering from these surgeries, I did some research and came across the Northwestern Coding Boot Camp. While recovering from these surgeries, I did some research and came across the Northwestern Coding Boot Camp. I knew it was the perfect opportunity to finally make that change I always wanted to. This industry has endless opportunities, and always challenges you to learn and grow. I am glad I finally took the step I have always wanted to and pursued coding and web development.
I have had a great experience with the Northwestern Coding Bootcamp. My instructors are experts in the course material. I can't believe how much I have already learned in such a short time. They push you to learn and want you to succeed. I feel that the course material is perfect for beginners, even though some of it may be a little outdated. It starts with the basics and ramps up. Understanding the basics in a new industry, especially program development, is key to being successful. The structure of the course is great and keeps you on track to learn as much as you can. The boot camp is challenging but rewarding.
Some advice I would give to prospective students is to make sure you have the time and desire to put in the work. It is very demanding, even for a part time boot camp, but as long as you put in the time you will get a ton out of it. During the boot camp, you also have access to educational resources and career resources, which are key to your success. Take advantage of these resources as they are very helpful. A Great Bootcamp to get my Career Started
My journey at Northwest Coding Bootcamp has been nothing short of transformative. As a Business Systems Analyst, I had the chance to dabble in development projects which I thoroughly enjoyed. Certified Scrum Master Review
I took the CSM training through KnowledgeHut. It was a rigorous 2 day course but we had a highly qualified and well equipped trainer who walked us through it step by step. By the end of the second day we had an enhanced knowledge of scrum principles. Plus the constant support from KnowledgeHut made the whole bootcamp worth it.I feel I am more enriched with scrum knowledge and can contribute better to my day to day project work.A big thanks to KnowledgeHut for successfully orga...I took the CSM training through KnowledgeHut. The data analytics program is blessed with great TAs and a fantastic professor who does his best to make the class entertaining despite the material being challenging. With the support from the teaching staff a student will succeed if they put in the effort to learn and keep up with the coursework. I am a recent graduate of the cybersecurity boot camp with Northwestern University. I do not have an IT background. I am transitioning into IT from teaching. When I started this boot camp, I did not know anything about a 'terminal,' or that it even existed, beyond what movies show you. I went from absolutely zero knowledge of IT, to graduating from my cohort with an A+ grade. The cohort will be rigorous, and it will push you to your limits! A difficult but rewarding journey
Northwestern's Data Science & Visualization Boot Camp was fast-paced & challenging but well-organized & rewarding. I did not have experience with coding or data science prior to this boot camp so I was appreciated how well the topics were organized. FULL STACK FLEX PART-TIME
I decided to pursue a boot-camp after doing a few projects at work that involved coding. I knew if I wanted to pursue programming as a career I would need a solid knowledge base, so I decided to sign up for this class pretty last minute and hoped for the best. This boot-camp experience has exceeded all of my expectations, I have learned so much, our teacher is wonderful and actually works as a full time software engineer and did a boot-camp herself, so she is very up to date on the techn...I decided to pursue a boot-camp after doing a few projects at work that involved coding. I knew if I wanted to pursue programming as a career I would need a solid knowledge base, so I decided to sign up for this class pretty last minute and hoped for the best. This boot-camp experience has exceeded all of my expectations, I have learned so much, our teacher is wonderful and actually works as a full time software engineer and did a boot-camp herself, so she is very up to date on the technologies used in the workforce and can relate to us through her own boot-camp experience. The homework assignments are often tricky but a great challenge and very helpful for learning. I was nervous that I would regret signing up and wouldn't love it, but it has made me even more excited for a career in web development.
