    Excellent Learning Experience

I came into the boot camp knowing very little about development and came out knowing more than I thought I ever would it’s a great way to sharpen your mind and your knowledge I think that if you have any kind of desire to learn a field like this even if it’s just expanding your knowledge this is worth it in the end you learn so much in a short period of time

    Definitely not for beginners

They say that no coding experience is needed for the data analytics boot camp, but students with no coding experience are at a severe disadvantage starting in week two.  Unfortunately, students are only allowed to drop during week one.  Students that have previous coding experience have no trouble getting through the material while those with no experience quickly fall behind.  By the time students that are new to coding realize that the course is geared towards more experienced students...

The program was a lot more than what I had ever expected. I was given every tool to succeed by the program and my Instructor Daven Rosenbaum was amazing and very knowledgeable. I have already recommended this program and instructor to many others during and after my completion of the program.

    Data Analytics Boot Camp

The camp was a really good experience, Adriana and Yuyang were a fantastic instructional team.  I think I would have liked a bit more focus in the curriculum on math/statistics, but I learned a lot about Python and machine learning and feel that the coding skills acquired will be very marketable.  The biggest asset of the course is the academic support available.  As mentioned, our instructional team was great and their communication with students was extremely helpful.  As well, the 24/...

Daven was extremely knowledgeable about every lesson we went. If a student had a question Daven answered it thoroughly and. Kal came became the course SSM at about the halfway point of classes but reached out to the class on multiple occasions to see if any questions needed answered. Would recommend this bootcamp to anyone looking to gain further experience or change their career path.

Despite being part-time it is definitely a fast-paced program. Students will do well with a background in computers. Bigger plus if you've used content management systems and have managed websites and know design principles and basics.

    Web Development

The Full Stack Web Development program as a whole was very well organized. I could only see a couple of downsides. First off, the course involves teaching handlebars rather than leaping into React right away. If the program centers around the Mern stack, then the student should learn as much React as possible. Second, React jobs in Cleveland are scarce. That being said, as a whole, the MERN stack might be excellent, but it is unlikely to be used in the local market.

We appreciate your review. We're glad you had an overall enjoyable student experience. However, from your review, we regret to hear that the curriculum did not live up to your expectations.

We understand you would have liked to spend more time focusing on React. Our course material is based on extensive market research, teaching in-demand skills that students can use to enter the current tech field, and we are proud of our ability to frequently make necessary updates.

We do communicate to learners that because we cover a full-stack, topics are introduced at a high level in-class. We pride ourselves on teaching individuals how to learn, providing a strong foundation of skills that will allow them to easily dive into other programming languages, even after the course ends. This helps participants learn how to problem-solve and self-teach; crucial abilities needed in any real-world role. We appreciate your feedback as we are constantly working on optimizing our curriculum to ensure participants are learning the most valuable skills and concepts.

We sincerely care about all our students and would welcome the opportunity to speak with you further to provide any additional learning or support you may need at this time. If you would like, please contact us directly at (216) 333-1821.

    Great Start, More to Learn

This program has many pros and some cons that go along with it. The biggest benefit you will receive is learning to re-wire your brain to learn to code. This can be the hardest part about coding if you see the foreign languages of different syntax on screen and get frustrated at first. You will learn to break down code and the best ways to best teach yourself to read and write it for any language you are learning in the future.
There is a major con to this course. With how quickly the...

Thank you! We're glad to hear you benefited from the learning structure of our program and found our instructional team to be knowledgeable. We're continually working on optimizing our boot camp offerings and feedback like yours helps us do just that. Part of those efforts includes the Python, Java, and C# supplemental learning modules that we offer students asynchronously. Like you mentioned, the course does require hard work, both in your studies and career search, so we commend your steadfast dedication. We appreciate your review and wish you all the best moving forward!

    Coding Bootcamp

The program was initially advertised as a sixth-month in-person full-stack Boot camp program designed to make the novice career ready.  Due to the Corona Virus pandemic and subsequent closer of Case Western Reserve's campus, the class became a remote learning experience.  This change in venue greatly devalued the program.  Classes were essentially lectures.  The instructor was resistant to questions from the novice learner during the lecture.  In fact, the instruction seemed geared more ...

Thank you for your feedback, Erich. The student experience is our top priority, and we regret that the program learning experience did not live up to your expectations. As you mentioned, the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in your cohort's transition from in-person to virtual coursework to ensure a safe and seamless continuation of the curriculum. We understand that this was an unprecedented change in the course delivery for all students and required an adjustment period, but we are confident in our ability to prepare students with the skills they need through our online classroom experience. Our instructional teams strive to provide an engaging classroom environment for all learners, but we know that not all teaching styles resonate with all learners. We sincerely care about all our students and would welcome the opportunity to further discuss what else we can do at this time to best meet your expectations and reinforce your learning. If you would like, please reach out to us directly at (216) 333-1821.

    Meh

Honestly this was a big waste of time and money. Though a bootcamp, there was never a chance to really go in-depth in certain areas and was never truly a reassurance that students understood the material. Most of my comprehension came from tutoring. The last part of the program happened to be during Covid which kinda made it worst due to the lack of focus. Overall I’m just not happy with my time and experience with the program. I feel there was some many scenarios or real like functional...

Thank you for your feedback. We regret to hear you were unsatisfied with your student experience.

Like you noted, this program is a boot camp and was designed to cover a great deal of knowledge in a limited amount of time. Rather than spending extended periods of time on one particular language or technology, we pride ourselves on teaching individuals how to learn, providing a strong foundational skill set that students can use to continue expanding their knowledge and learning new topics—even after graduating.

We strive to communicate to students that our full stack program introduces course material at a macro-level, with additional time required outside of class to properly understand and master the concepts. This methodology is proven to teach individuals how to problem-solve and self-teach: two abilities necessary in any real-world role. To facilitate this learning style, we also provide help during office hours 45 minutes before and 30 minutes after class for students to obtain additional assistance if needed. Our team is constantly working on improving our course material and instructional support to ensure students have the best learning experience possible, so we appreciate your input.

Your cohort did experience a disruption due to COVID-19 that resulted in your studies transitioning online for the health and safety of all participants. We understand that this unplanned change did require some initial adjustments and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

It's our goal for all students to complete the boot camp feeling equipped for success, so we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you and determine what additional assistance we can provide for you at this time. If you would like, please reach out to us directly at (216) 333-1821.
