My experience with BrainStation has been overwhelmingly positive. I feel that the curriculum was well-structured and covered the major areas of importance for UX, to learn by doing as the main goal. It is very fast-paced and can be challenging if you don't know what you're getting into beforehand. The instructors and TAs were great, each had a different style of teaching and a different perspective and area of focus, which helped to understand how vast the field of UX is.

I was a little worried at first that I wouldn’t find the experience rewarding but I can confidently say that it was an amazing experience. The curriculum was relatively comprehensive and the education team was really knowledgeable and helpful.

I’d especially recommend it to anyone with little to no experience with Web Development and is looking to transition from building things that print to the terminal/command line to building complete Full-Stack projects with UIs.

I am a recent graduate from BrainStation online UX bootcamp which lasted 12 weeks. I have to say, this was quite an experience! And our great educators were able to push us to create some incredible projects within the tight time constraints. Before this bootcamp, I never thought that I would be able to complete an entire UX project within 1 week, and another within just 24 hours! Overall, I am very happy with my experience at the bootcamp, especially the teachers who were incredibly helpful and good at what they do.

As an advice for people who are considering this bootcamp, please make sure to go through a simple online course before starting the bootcamp so that you know what you are getting into. This would make your bootcamp experience much easier and be certain that you are in the right place in terms of your interests. And, make sure that you would have lots of time to dedicate to this bootcamp during the 12 weeks. Because in terms of commitment, its a full-time job plus lots of homework!

I was able to create a full stack application at the end of the bootcamp. Despite taking it online, lectures are very engaging and educators and teaching assistants are very helpful. Also, having the same goals in the cohort just helps elevate each other. I highly recommend this bootcamp.

The Educators and TAs take pride in their work and it shows. They are incredibly helpful and encouraging. The course itself is challenging for sure! If you are looking to take the course, the best advice i can give you is to ask lots of questions to your TAs and Classmates. My course included 3 hackathons which were definitely the biggest parts of my growth. They are challenging and lead to a lot of skill growth through application of learned material.
